Torture museum - Phnom Penh
This centre was used for torture during Pol Pot's reign of the country - now a museum.
It was converted from a high school. Second picture: photos of some victims after arrest.
The victims in these pictures are mostly students. The security regulations are translated
from the original Khmer. The final photos are of torture rooms used mostly for military
officers. What is not visible in these pictures are the large photos that have been hung
on the walls of actual victims in these beds (right side of last picture). The other
"classrooms" were divided with brick walls into small tiny cells with chains
cemented into the floor.
