My STATION Transceiver:Kenwood TM-V7 Antenna : Dualband 4/6 dB Computer : 486dx4-100/16Mb I will have soon a Portuguese version of this page. |
I am Hamradio since 1981. Before that I worked the
frequency of CB. I work from this date the frequencies of VHF and UHF. My main interest on these last 3 years have been the digital communications (Packet Radio). In this page I will try to help the popularization of this communication type leaving here some links and files for those that are interested in the packet radio. Have fun. CT1DGC - Arnaldo Bento |
I would like to recommend you one of the most popular packet program that works under the Windows 3.!, 95/98 with a normal TNC, TNC in Kiss, BPQ, Flexnet, and with AGW Packet Engine: Winpack.
You will find many external programs and servers for Winpack in the page of G0RRW.
There is more two programs that I will recomend you to use in winpack : WINPLOG and WINPMAIL. You must download grid.vbx.
If you want to change messages in format HTML you can use one of the programs of conversion of plane text in HTML called
from G4FJQ program.
Now it is possible to drive the Baycom modem and another TNCs from different manufacturer with an excellent program called Packet Engine from SV2AGW, and work under the Windows 95/98.
If you like BPQ then you can try other
excellent program to do Packet Rádio with the windows 95 as operating system.
The program calls SALLY ver.
200.003.
It is a very pleasant program but, as I said before, it needs that you carry BPQ before
the windows 95 and that feels comfortable in the configuration of BPQ, which is not easy
per times.
Packet mail : CT1DGC@CS1AAS.CTLX.PRT.EU
It is (always) in construction !
