Ponder these scriptures concern women pastoring churches. Women are not to teach nor usurp authority over men. 1Timothy:2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. Avoid making a vow unto God. Numbers:30:4And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. Christians are to only marry Christians. 1Corinthians7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. What is “Faith” The Holy Scriptures defines “Faith” Hebrews:11:1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Here is the Amplified Version Hebrews:11:1 Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. There are men that preach every man, and woman are children of God; but that is not so. There are in this present world both the children of God, and the children of Satan. The children of Satan are faithless, and cannot be saved from the wrath to come because they cannot receive the Holy Ghost; for the Holy Ghost must be received by faith. John:14:15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.The bible speaks of the children of God as , wheat, and the children of Satan as tares, in the Parable of the Wheat, and Tares. Matthew:13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tares? 28He said unto them, an enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. God created us, His children, in such a way that we have the ability to believe spiritual things without seeing. When we hear the gospel preached faith comes into our hearts.Romans:10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. When the elect of God receive the Holy Ghost the inward man the soul comes to life. When a person receives the Holy Ghost it is the earnest of our inheritance. Ephesians:1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. When a child of God receives the Holy Ghost the Holy Ghost brings a gift, or gifts. One of the gifts of the Spirit is the Gift of Faith. 1Corinthian:12:6And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. If a person has faith as a grain of mustard seed nothing shall be impossible to him. Matthew:17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Only the elect of God, the predestinated , those chosen before the foundation of the world, shall make heaven their eternal home. Ephesians:1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, But if you will grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord, and Saviour you can make your calling and election sure in the world to come. 2Peter 1:4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.5And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. When we as saints of God are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ we are translated out of the world and into the Body of Christ. Why is being baptized into the Body of Christ so important? Because eternal life is in the Body of Christ. 1John:5:11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. And we come into the promise that we shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The apostle Paul said these words. Galatians:3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. When a man of God within whom the Spirit of God lives Lays his hands on you So that you may receive the Holy Ghost) God takes of the Spirit that is on the man of God and places it on the canidate to receive the Holy Ghost. ( Numbers:11:17 and I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone. Acts:19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. 7And all the men were about twelve.) The faithless believe when a person is baptized it is just figurative of the life, death, burial, and resurrection. When a man of God comes with the intention of performing the rite of the Lord’s Supper or the Holy Eucharist; and rises holy hands and blesses the unleavened bread, and the fruit of the vine there is a change comes over both species. The unleavened bread becomes the Body of Christ, and the fruit of the vine becomes the blood of Christ. Matthew 26:26And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Except a man eats of the Body of Christ, and in addition drinks of His blood he will have no life in him. John:6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 57As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. The Life of the flesh is in the blood. Any man that withholds the fruit of the vine after it blessed from the children of God, is an enemy of God’s children. Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. The faithless say that there is no change comes over the species after it is blessed, it is just figurative of the body, and blood of Christ. The bible says that the world is five days older than Adam. But the faithless say that the world is hundreds of thousands of years old. Genesis 2:2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. Faithless people do not believe in the Trinity in unity, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. If a man does not believe in the Father, and the Son they are not a Christian at all they are antichrist. 1John:2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Jesus is the first born of every creature. Colossians 1:14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: God by Jesus created all things. Ephesians:3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Unbelievers do not believe in playing on musical instruments in the church even though God’s children play on musical instruments before the throne of God. Revelations:14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. Unbelievers say faith plus nothing equals salvation. To be saved a child of God must repent,(Lk:13:5) have faith,(Acts:16:31)must be baptized, born of water, an d the Spirit.(John 3:5) must partake of the Lord’s supper,(John:6:53) must wash the feet of the saints and allow them to wash their feet,(John 13:8) must work in the harvest of souls,(John:15:2) must be obedient unto the commandments of God.(Hebrew 10:26) There are things that we as saints of God must not do. We must not do the “Works of the flesh.” (Galatians:5:19-21)We must not do the “Burning Offences” (Revelations:21:8 )We must not circumcise ourselves with the intention of keeping the law of Moses.(Galatians:5:1-6) We must not fall away from the Church, and renounce our faith for if you do you cannot repent of that sin.(Hebrews:6:1-6) Be careful when you speak of the Holy Ghost(Lk:12:10) The scriptures are the Laws of God. When the Lord recorded these words Matthew:23:9And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. This is not a suggestion, it is a Law. And to transgress this Law after you come into the knowledge of it is sin. And to know that it is sin, and to transgress it boldly is terrible. If God imputes wilfull sin to that person there is no more sacrifice for sin just a looking forward to a fiery indignation. We as saints of God are not to swear, neither by heaven neither by earth, neither by any other oath. James:5:12But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. When we come together in the church in name of Jesus Christ the gifts of the spirit are to be a part of the church service and to not do so is sin.1Corinthians:14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
