reetings,
holy children of God, in the wonderful name of our lord and saviour Jesus, the Christ.
The sermon subject for today is: Rom:14:23And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.”Of”defined- Precedeth from or related to.What is faith? Hebrews 11:1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Amplified Translation-Hebrews 11:1NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. This is the Law of Faith. Rom:10:6But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Faith comes to God’s children by hearing the word of God. Rom:10:17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Heb11:5By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.7By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Where is the saving type faith? The saving type faith is in the Body of Christ.Acts 24:24And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. We the elect of God are baptized into the Body of Christ. When a child of God is baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, they are translated out of the world, and into the Body of Christ; Gal:3:27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Eternal Life is in the Body of Christ. 1Jn:5:11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.And when we receive the Holy Ghost, we become a member in the Body of Christ. All of God’s children have a measure of faith. Rom:12:3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. But, the children of Satan are faithless. 2Thes3:2And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. Some men have great faith. For example Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had great faith. There was a king Nebuchadnezzar, in Babylon, that set up a graven image, and commanded all the people of Babylon to bow down to that image, or he would cast them into a fiery furnace. Three men Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow to the image and were cast into the furnace. Here are their words spoken just before they were cast into the furnace. Dan:3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Here is another example of great faith. Job, after the children of Satan had taken his personal possessions, after Satan had killed Job’s children, and placed boils on his body from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head Job said these words. Speaking of God.Job 13:15Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. The price for preaching and teaching heresies is very great. Are there people today that had rather die than break God’s commandments? Yes, those beheaded during the great tribulation shall rise in the first resurrection. Rev:20:4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Faith is one of the gifts of the Spirit, nothing shall be impossible to them. 1Cor:12:9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;Mat:17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. They that preach heresies shall not inherit such wonderful gifts as eternal life, and the immortal body. Children of Satan teach, and preach heresies because there is no fear of God in them. Tit:1:11Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. Here are some of the heresies they preach now to receive filth lucre. 1.Faith plus nothing equal salvation. 2,God loves you unconditionally. 3.There is one God His name is Jesus, Him, and none other. 4.It is a sin to play on musical instruments in the church. Men that preach such things do not believe that there is a Hell, or they would not preach such things. Here is the commandment concerning heresy that says if men preach heresy they shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Gal:5:19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. What is the Kingdom of God? Rom:14:17For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. It is the Holy Ghost that brings the inward man the soul to life. It is the inward man the soul that shall live in eternity. Here is an example of faithlessness. When a man of God, within whom the Spirit of God lives, comes to perform the ritual of the Lord’s Supper, and blesses the unleavened bread, which becomes the Body of Christ, and the fruit of the vine, which becomes the Blood of Christ, the faithless says that it is just figurative of the Body, and Blood of Christ. Mat:26:26And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;28For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. The children of Satan cannot receive the Holy Ghost, because the Holy Ghost must be received by faith. Jn:14 :16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. The most wonderful thing that happens to a child of God, in this world, is the receiving of the Holy Ghost. When we receive the Holy Ghost the inward man, the soul, comes to life. It is the inward man the soul that lives in eternity, for the inward man is renewed day by day. 2Cor:4:16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. When a child of God receives the Holy Ghost, the anointing He brings will teach us, and bring us into all truth. 1Jn2:27But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. The Holy Ghost gives the saints of God the power to live the sin free life. 1Jn:3:8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. The Holy Ghost within accomplishes these fruits. Gal:5:22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. How are we saved by faith? Rom:10:9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. God commands His children to be perfect. Mat:5:48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. How do we become perfectly righteous in the eyes of God? We become perfectly righteous by faith in Christ Jesus , and faith in the blood He shed on Calvary’s Cross for our redemption. Rom:3:23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. True worshippers worship God in Spirit, and in truth. Jn:4:20Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The gospel was preached to Abraham. Gal:3:9And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. God promised to give Cannan Land to Abraham and his seed. What makes this promise so wonderful? Heaven shall come to earth, it shall alight upon Canaan Land. According to Law if something is built on a piece of land, the one that owns the land also owns what is built thereon. Rom:4:13For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. When God gave Canaan Land to Abraham, and his seed, God did not say seeds as many, but He said seed as one seed. Gal:3:16Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. We, the children of God that have been baptized into Christ, and become a member in the Body of Christ have because of our union with Christ have become Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. Gal:26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Why was the Law of Moses recorded? It was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. Gal:3:23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. The Law and the prophets lost it’s power to save when John came preaching in the wilderness. Lk:16:16The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. When did the New Testament become valid? When Jesus Christ died on Calvary’s Cross. Heb:9:15And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.17For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. The great majority of the people are not children of God, but children of Satan. I base my opinion on these scriptures. Mat:7:13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. God bless you, and your family.
