When the lord Jesus Christ taught the laws of God to his disciples, he would use metaphors, illustrations to explain the laws. For example if he were talking to fishermen, he may use nets to explain the law, or if he were talking to farmers he may use wheat, and tares. If he were talking to herdsmen, he may use to illustrate a point of law sheep, and goats. He would use parables to teach the laws of God; parables are earthly stories with a heavenly meaning. Think on this children of God, laws are rules of conduct set forth by authority. The word authority means, one that has the power to give commands, demand obedience, and punish the transgressor. Notice in this parable that i am about to read that Jesus refers to harvest time as the end of the world. St. Matthew l3:34 another parable put he forth unto them, saying the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25. But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, sir, didst not thou sow good seed in they field? From whence then hath it tares? 28. He said unto them, an enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29. But he said, nay : lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest i will say to the reapers, gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Beloved of God, notice in the parable of the wheat, and the tares, that it is the tares that shall be gathered first and burned. Many false prophets are preaching that it is the wheat that shall be gathered first. Listen carefully as Christ explains the parable. St. Matthew l3:36 then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37. He answered and said unto them, he that soweth the good seed is the son of man. 38. The field is the world: the good seed are the children of the kingdom : but the tares are the children of the wicked one: 39. The enemy that sowed them is the devil: the harvest is the end of the world: and the reapers are the angels. 40. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire: so shall it be in the end of this world. 4l. The son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity: 42. And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father. Who hath ears to hear let him hear. Saints of God, to those that perish the end of the world shall come as a thief in the night, but to us, the children of God, the end of the world shall not come as a thief. Let me make this very clear, no man knows the day or the hour, but to the children of God, God has revealed signs that will tell us when harvest time is very close. L thessalonians 5:l but of the times and the season, brethren, ye have no need that i write unto you. 2. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3. For when they shall say, peace and safety: then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child: and they shall not escape. 4. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Brothers, and sisters in Christ be not deceived harvest time, the day of the lord, the end of the world, shall not come before the antiChrist, the son of perdition, comes. And the lord Jesus Christ when he returns for his bride the church shall consume the antiChrist with the spirit from his mouth, and shall destroy him with the brightness of his coming. Ll thessalonians 2:l now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him. 2. That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. 4. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped : so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5. Remember ye not, that, when i was yet with you, i told you these things? 6. And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8. And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. 9. Even him, whose coming is after the working of satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. L0. And with all deceivableness in them that perish: because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Ll. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. L2. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Holy children the antiChrist is both a man, and a system. And the system is already with us. Every man that does not believe in both God the father, and God the son is antiChrist. Every man that does not believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, when he was born of the virgin Mary is antiChrist. Everyone that is not with Christ is antiChrist. L john 4:3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antiChrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come: and even now already is it in the world. L john 2:22 who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antiChrist, that denieth the father and the son. St. Matthew l2:30 he that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not scattereth abroad. Children of light, the reign of the antiChrist shall be three and one half years. And the lord shall kill the antiChrist when he returns. Therefore if you will count three and one half years from the time the antiChrist begins to reign, you should be very close to harvest time, the end of the world, judgment day, the day of the lord. Revelation l3:2 and the beast which i saw was like a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3. And i saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death: and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? 5. And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies: and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Verse 7. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues and nations. 8. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Saints of God, when the antiChrist comes he will make all small and great, rich, and poor to take a mark either in their right hand, or in their forehead. If a person will not take the mark in their right hand or in their forehead, they will not be able to buy or sell. Revelation l3:l6 and he caused all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: l7. And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. L8. Here is wisdom, let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man: and his number is six hundred three score and six. Listen carefully, children of God, if any man takes the mark of the beast in his right hand, or in his forehead, he will burn in hell for ever, and ever. Revelation l4:9 and the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, if any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or his hand, l0. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation: and he shall be tormented with fire and brime stone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the lamb. Ll. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor might, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Holy children, God calls many people to work in the harvest, but few shall be chosen to spend eternity with Christ. Some people are called to work in the harvest when they are children, some are called when they are young men, and women, some are called when they are middle aged, or older. Jesus spake a parable about how God calls his children. Saying that the kingdom of heaven is like a man that was a householder that went out early to hire men to work in his vineyard, later at the third hour he went out and hired other labours, he also hire labours at the nineth hour, and the eleveneth hour. He agreed to pay each man a penny. Therefore, at evening he called all the men in to receive their pay. And he begin to pay the last first. When he came to pay the first hired, they expected to receive more, but they received a penny, and they murmured against the good man of the house. St. Matthew 20:8 so when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. 9. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. L0. But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more: and they likewise received every man a penny. Ll. And when they received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house. L2. Saying these last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. L3. But he answered one of them, and said, friend, i do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? L4. Take that thine is, and go thy way: i will give unto this last, even as unto thee. L5. Is it not lawful for me to do what i will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because i am good. L6. So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. But beloved of God, there is a way that you can make certain of you call and election. If you will take faith, and add to that virtue, and to virtue, knowledge. Ll peter l:4 whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue: and to virtue knowledge: 6. And to knowledge temperance, and to temperance patience: and to patience Godliness. 7. And to Godliness brotherly kindness : and to brotherly kindness charity. 8. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our lord Jesus Christ. Verse l0. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fail: ll. For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our lord and saviour Jesus the Christ. Saints of God, life is short, and dead is certain, and their is no end to eterity. You are just a heart beat away from eternity: therefore i say to you lift up your eyes and see that the fields are ripe, and ready for the harvest. Jesus speaking to his disciples said these words. St. John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, my meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35. Say not ye, there are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, i say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields: for they are white already to harvest. 36. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37. And herein is that saying true, one soweth, and another reapeth. 38. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours. Brothers, and sisters in Christ, win someone to the lord, when the end of the world comes, and the fire destroys the things you see. That work of winningsomeonetoChristwillnotburn:itshallbeforyouforever. James 5:20 let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multi- tude of sins. Beloved let me conclude with these words or our creator, st. Matthew ll:28 come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and i will give you rest. 29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me: for i am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
