IF YOU ARE A NEW CONVERT TO THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, YOU MAY NOT KNOW WHAT PRAYER ACTUALLY IS. PRAYER IS AN ERNEST REQUEST MADE UNTO GOD IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, BY THE SPIRITS HELP. IT MAY BE A PRAYER UTTERED IN A HURRY. OR, IT MAY BE MAY BE A SECRET PRAYER, OR A FAMILY PRAYER, OR IT MAY BE A PUBLIC PRAYER. IT MAY BE A PRAYER WITH MANY WORDS, OR IT MAY BE A PRAYER WITH FEW WORDS. IT MAY BE A PRAYER OF ADORATION, OR A PRAYER OF CONFESSION, OR A PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING, OR A PRAYER OF INTERCESSION. THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS THAT WILL CAUSE A PERSON'S PRAYER NOT TO BE ANSWERED. A SELF RIGHTEOUS PERSON WILL RECEIVE NOTHING OF THE LORD.

WHEN YOU PRAY HOLY CHILDREN, HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE GOD. JESUS CHRIST SPOKE THIS PARABLE TO TEACH US ABOUT MEN THAT THINK THEY ARE RIGHTEOUS IN THEMSELVES.

Lk:18:10: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

Lk:18:11: The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

Lk:18:12: I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

Lk:18:13: And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Lk:18:14: I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

CHILD OF GOD WHEN I WAS A YOUNG MAN, BEFORE GOD CALLED ME TO REPENTANCE, THERE WAS A CHRISTIAN WOMAN THAT LIVED ACROSS THE STREET FROM MY HOUSE. AND, SHE CAME TO VISIT MY WIFE. THOUGH I WAS IN ANOTHER PART OF THE HOUSE, I COULD HEAR THEM TALKING. THE CHRISTIAN WOMAN, WAS TELLING MY WIFE ABOUT HER SON THAT HAD BROKE HIS LEG. AND, THAT THE LEG WAS NOT HEALING PROPERLY. AND, THAT SHE THOUGHT THAT SHE WOULD FAST, AND PRAY ABOUT THE MATTER. I THOUGHT IN MY HEART, HOW CAN SHE HELP HER SON BY NOT EATING OR DRINKING? YOU SEE, HOLY CHILDREN, I WAS NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE LAWS OF GOD. LISTEN AS I READ THESE VERSES OF SCRIPTURE, THESE PRECIOUS PROMISES, RECORDED IN THE 58 CHAPTER OF ISAIAH.

Is:58:6: Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Is:58:7: Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

Is:58:8: Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.

Is:58:9: Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

BELOVED, WHAT A WONDERFUL THING IT IS TO BE A CHRISTIAN, TO BE A CHILD OF GOD. WHEN I WAS A CHILD, AND I WAS HUNGRY, OR FRIGHTEN, OR IN NEED, I WOULD GO TO MY DAD OR MY MOTHER FOR THEY LOVED ME, AND WOULD HELP ME. BUT THEIR POWER WAS VERY LIMITED. BUT, NOW WHEN I AM HURT, OR IN NEED, I GO TO MY HEAVENLY FATHER THAT LOVES ME, AND HE HELPS ME. MY HEAVENLY FATHER IS OMNIPOTENT, HAS ALL POWER IN HEAVEN, AND EARTH. THERE IS NOTHING THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM. HE PLACED THE SUN, AND THE MOON, AND THE STARS IN SPACE IN ONE DAY. HE CREATED ALL MANKIND, AND PLACED THEM IN ADAM; IN ONE DAY. MY HEAVENLY FATHER IS RICH, HE OWNS THE CATTLE ON A THOUSAND HILLS. HE IS OMNISCIENT, HAS INFINITE WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, AND UNDERSTANDING. HE IS OMNIPRESENT, PRESENT ALL PLACES AT THE SAME TIME. IF A MAN WILL REPENT OF HIS SINS, AND BE OBEDIENT TO THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD. WHEN HE FAST AND PRAYS, THERE IS A POWER SO GREAT, THAT THE MIND CANNOT EVEN IMAGINE, SAYS TO THAT CHILD; "HERE I AM."

Is:58:9: Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am.

HOLY CHILDREN DID YOU NOTICE THAT IF YOU FAST, THAT YOUR HEALTH SHALL SPRING FORTH SPEEDILY.

Is:58:8: Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.

SAINTS OF GOD, I ONCE HAD A MAN ASK ME IF I BELIEVED IN DEVINE HEALING. I SAID TO HIM; BROTHER, IF YOU GET YOUR HEALING IT WILL COME FROM THE DEVINE. DOCTORS CAN PRESCRIBE MEDICINE, SURGEONS CAN CUT AND SEW. BUT, WHEN IT COMES TO HEALING ; GOD HAS RESERVED THAT FOR HIMSELF. MANY PEOPLE WILL FROM TIME TO TIME TELL ME OF THEIR INFIRMITIES. AND, I WILL ASK THIS QUESTION, HAVE YOU CALLED FOR THE ELDERS OF THE CHURCH, AND ASKED THEM TO PRAY OVER YOU ANOINTING YOU WITH OIL? MANY TIMES THEY WILL SAY NO. BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THESE SCRIPTURES RECORDED IN THE BOOK OF JAMES.

Jms:5:14: Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

Jms:5:15: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Jms:5:16: Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

LISTEN CAREFULLY CHILDREN OF GOD, HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ON THE QUESTION, WHAT MUST I DO, TO GET A PRAYER ANSWERED? THERE ARE IN THIS PRESENT WORLD, BOTH CHILDREN OF GOD, AND CHILDREN OF SATAN. THE CHILDREN OF GOD, WERE MADE CHILDREN OF GOD IN CREATION. CHRIST EXPLAINED THIS IN THE PARABLE OF THE WHEAT, AND THE TARES. WHEN CHRIST CREATED HIS CHILDREN, THE WHEAT, HE CREATED US IN SUCH A WAY THAT WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO BELIEVE IN HIM, AND BELIEVE HIS WORD WITHOUT SEEING; HE CREATED US WITH WHAT IS CALLED "FAITH." IF A PERSON HAS FAITH, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO THEM. IN THIS VERSE OF SCRIPTURE JESUS CHRIST IS SPEAKING, AND HE SAYS.

Mt:17:20: And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. (KJV)

SAINTS OF GOD, HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY THE CHILDREN OF SATAN DO NOT PRAY EXPECTING TO RECEIVE FROM GOD? THEY DO NOT PRAY EARNESTLY TO GOD, BECAUSE THEY CANNOT SEE HIM. THEY ARE FAITHLESS. IT IS THE CHILDREN OF SATAN, THAT SAY THERE IS NO CHANGE COMES OVER THE SPECIES OF THE BREAD, AND THE FRUIT OF THE VINE, IN THE RITUAL OF THE LORD'S SUPPER; WHEN THE SPECIES ARE BLESSED. THEY SAY THAT NO CHANGE COMES OVER THE SPECIES, BECAUSE THEY CANNOT SEE, NOR SMELL, NOR TASTE A CHANGE, THEREFORE THEY CONCLUDE THAT NO CHANGE HAS TAKEN PLACE. EVEN THOUGH CHRIST SAYS, AFTER HE BLESSED THE BREAD, "THIS IS MY BODY; AND AFTER HE BLESSED THE FRUIT OF THE VINE, THIS IS MY BLOOD. JESUS HAS SAID, EXCEPT YOU EAT OF MY FLESH, AND DRINK MY BLOOD YOU HAVE NO LIFE IN YOU. BUT, YOU CHILD OF GOD, COME INTO THIS KNOWLEDGE, THAT IF GOD HEARS YOUR PRAYER; YOU HAVE YOUR REQUEST.

1Jn:5:13: These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

1Jn:5:14: And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

1Jn:5:15: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

BELOVED, TO HAVE YOUR PRAYERS ANSWERED, YOU MUST BE A CHILD OF GOD. YOU MUST BELIEVE THAT GOD IS, AND THAT HE IS A REWARDER OF THEM THAT DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM.

Heb:11:6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV)

SAINTS OF GOD, TO HAVE YOUR PRAYERS ANSWERED YOU MUST BE A CHILD OF GOD, YOU MUST HAVE FAITH, AND YOU MUST ASK. THE LORD SAYS, YOU HAVE; NOT BECAUSE YOU ASK NOT.

Jms:4:2: Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. (KJV)

Jms:4:3: Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

CHILDREN OF LIGHT TO HAVE YOUR PRAYER ANSWERED YOU MUST BE A CHILD OF GOD, YOU MUST HAVE FAITH, YOU MUST ASK IN FAITH, YOU MUST NOT DOUBT. IF A PERSON DOUBTS HE WILL RECEIVE NOTHING FROM GOD. AND LET ME MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR, SATAN WILL TRY HIS BEST TO MAKE YOU DOUBT. WHEN YOU PRAY; ACT AS IF YOU HAVE THE TITLE DEED TO WHAT YOU HAVE PRAYED FOR.

Jms:1:5: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Jms:1:6: But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Jms:1:7: For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Jms:1:8: A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

SAINTS OF GOD, FOR A PERSON TO HAVE HIS PRAYER ANSWERED, HE MUST BE A CHILD OF GOD, A PERSON OF FAITH, HE MUST ASK, HE MUST NOT DOUBT, HE MUST BE OBEDIENT TO THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, FOR IF A PERSON TRANSGRESSES THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, HE BECOMES AN ENEMY OF GOD. FOR IF A PERSON WILLFULLY SINS, AFTER HE RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST, AFTER HE COMES INTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH. HE DOES THREE THINGS; HE TRODS UNDER FOOT THE SON OF GOD, HE COUNTS THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT WHEREWITH HE WAS SANCTIFIED AN UNHOLY THING, AND HE DOES DEPITE TO THE SPIRIT OF GRACE. A WICKED MAN, EVEN HIS PRAYER IS AN ABOMINATION TO GOD.

Prv:28:9: He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. (KJV)

CHILDREN OF LIGHT, THERE ARE LONG PRAYERS, AS WHEN SOLOMON PRAYED THE PRAYER OF DEDICATION, TO DEDICATE THE TEMPLE THAT HE HAD BUILT FOR THE LORD. IN THE PRAY OF DEDICATION OF THE TEMPLE, SOLOMON MADE A PRAYER OF SUPPLICATION, HE KNEELED AND LIFED HIS HANDS TOWARD HEAVEN AND PRAYED. WHEN A PERSON PRAYS A PRAYER OF SUPPLICATION, A PERSON KNEELS, AND HUMBLY AND EARNESTLY ENTREATS THE LORD GOD. THE VERY WORD SUPPLICATION MEANS TO FOLD. WHEN WE PRAY IT IS GOD'S WILL THAT WE RAISE HOLY HANDS.

1Tm:2:8: I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. (KJV)

BELOVED OF GOD, THERE A SECRET PRAYER, SECRET UNTO MEN, BUT OPENLY DONE UNTO GOD.

Mt:6:6: But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Mt:6:7: But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Mt:6:8: Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

SAINTS OF GOD, MEN, WHEN THEY PRAY ARE TO UNCOVER THEIR HEADS. BUT, WOMEN WHEN THEY PRAY ARE TO COVER THEIR HEADS. IF A MAN PRAYS WITH HIS HEAD COVERED HE DISHONOURS HIS HEAD WHICH IS CHRIST.

1Cor:11:2: Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

1Cor:11:3: But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

1Cor:11:4: Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

1Cor:11:5: But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

1Cor:11:6: For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

1Cor:11:7: For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

1Cor:11:8: For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

1Cor:11:9: Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

1Cor:11:10: For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

WE, THE CHILDREN OF GOD, MAY BE VERY WEAK; BUT, WE SERVE A POWERFUL GOD. WHEN WE KNEEL AND PRAY, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR US BECAUSE OF THESE SCRIPTURES.

Jn:14:12: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Jn:14:13: And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Jn:14:14: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Jn:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments.
