LET ME DEFINE THE WORD "PROBATION", FOR THOSE THAT MAY NOT BE FAMILIAR WITH IT. THE WORD PROBATION IS DEFINED AS:

a) subjection of an individual to a period of testing and trial to ascertain fitness (as for a job or school)

b) the action of suspending the sentence of a convicted offender and giving the offender freedom during good behavior under the supervision of a probation officer.

IF A PERSON TRANSGRESSES THE LAWS OF A STATE, IT IS CALLED A CRIME. IF A PERSON TRANSGRESSES ONE OF GOD'S LAWS, IT IS CALLED SIN. WERE THERE IS LAW THERE MUST BE PUNISHMENT. IF A MAN COMES OUT OF PRISON ON PROBATION, AND VIOLATES HIS PROBATION BY COMMITTING A CRIME; HE VERY WELL MAY BE RETURNED TO PRISON. ARE WE AS CHILDREN OF GOD GOING THROUGH A PERIOD OF PROBATION, OR TRIAL, TO SEE WERE WE WILL SPEND ETERNITY? THE ANSWER IS "YES."

Acts:14:21: And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,

Acts:14:22: Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

IS IT GOING TO BE DIFFICULT TO GET INTO HEAVEN? YES, THE LORD JESUS HAS SAID ENTER YE IN AT THE "STRAIT" GATE. THIS WORD "STRAIT", MEANS DIFFICULT. WHY ARE WE, THE CHILDREN OF GOD, ON PROBATION? BECAUSE OF ORIGINAL SIN OF ADAM. WE WERE ALL IN ADAM AT THE TIME THAT HE TRANSGRESSED THE LAW OF GOD. AND BECAUSE OF OUR PHYSICAL UNION WITH ADAM SIN WAS IMPUTED TO ALL HUMANITY. BECAUSE OF THE SACRIFICE THAT JESUS CHRIST MADE ON CALVARY'S CROSS, WE HAVE A SECOND OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE HEAVEN OUR ETERNAL HOME. THE DEVIL, AND HIS ANGELS ARE NOT ON PROBATION, BECAUSE THEY ARE CONDEMNED ALREADY. IN THIS VERSE OF SCRIPTURE JESUS IS SPEAKING AND HE SAYS,

Mt:25:41: Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

THE CHILDREN OF SATAN, THOSE KNOWN AS THE TARES IN THE PARABLE OF WHEAT, AND TARES, ARE NOT ON PROBATION, FOR THEY ARE CONDEMNED ALREADY.

Mt:13:30: Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

WHY ARE WE, THE ELECT OF GOD ON PROBATION? WHEN GOD BY JESUS CHRIST CREATED THE HEAVEN, AND EARTH, EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL, AND CLEAN. THEN GOD CREATED THE MAN ADAM, AND THE WOMAN EVE. GOD GAVE ADAM A COMMANDMENT THAT HE COULD EAT OF EVERY TREE IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN, BUT OF THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD, AND EVIL. HE WAS NOT TO EAT OF IT, FOR IN THE DAY HE ATE OF THAT TREE HE WOULD SURELY DIE.

Gn:2:16: And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Gn:2:17: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

WHEN ADAM TRANSGRESSED THAT COMMANDMENT, SIN CAME INTO THE WORLD, AND CONTAMINATED, POLLUTED, AND MADE UNCLEAN, THE PEOPLE, THE ANIMALS, THE BIRDS, THE FISH, AND THE GROUND. SIN COMES IN TWO COLORS SCARLET, AND CRIMSON. SCARLET IS RED WITH AN ORANGE TINT. AND CRIMSON IS A RED WITH A PURPLE TINT. WHEN ADAM TRANSGRESSED THE COMMANDMENT GOD, GOD'S BEAUTIFUL CREATION TURNED RED. CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW GOD'S CREATION LOOKS WITH THE PEOPLE, THE ANIMALS, THE FISH, THE BIRDS, AND THE GROUND RED. WE CANNOT SEE SIN FOR IT IS INVISIBLE TO THE HUMAN EYE, BUT GOD SEES SIN.

Is:1:18: Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (KJV)

WHEN ADAM TRANSGRESSED THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD, AND SIN CAME INTO THE WORLD, THE SPIRIT OF GOD DEPARTED FROM ADAM. AND BECAUSE OF OUR PHYSICAL UNION WITH ADAM, WE ALL DIED THE SPIRITUAL DEATH. THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL OF MAN DIED.

1Cor:15:22: For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (KJV)

THE SPIRITUAL DEATH REIGNED UPON ALL MEN FROM ADAM UNTIL MOSES WAS BORN. FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS THE SPIRITUAL DEATH REIGNED. FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN WENT OUT INTO ETERNITY WITHOUT HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE.

Rom:5:14: Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

THE SPIRITUAL DEATH REIGNED UPON THE GENTILE, FROM THE TIME OF ADAM, UNTIL CHRIST HANG ON CALVARY'S TREE. ALL MANKIND, BY ONE MAN'S TRANSGRESSION, HAD BEEN TAKEN INTO CAPTIVITY BY SATAN. IT WAS FOR THIS REASON, THAT CHRIST JESUS CAME INTO THE WORLD, TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE.

Lk:4:18: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Lk:4:19: To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

BEFORE CHRIST CAME INTO THE WORLD, AND OFFERED HIMSELF UPON CALVARY'S TREE, AS SACRIFICE UNTO GOD TO ATONE FOR OUR SINS, WE AS GENTILES WERE WITHOUT HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE. BUT, NOW WE HAVE HOPE

Eph:2:12: That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Eph:2:13: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Eph:2:14: For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Eph:2:15: Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Eph:2:16: And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

CHILDREN OF LIGHT, NOW, WHEN A CHILD IS BORN INTO THE WORLD, THEY ARE ALIVE PHYSICALLY BUT DEAD SPIRITUALLY, THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL IS DEAD. IT IS THE SOUL OF MAN THAT SHALL LIVE IN ETERNITY, FOR THE SOUL OF MAN IS RENEWED DAY BY DAY.

2Cor:4:16: For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. (KJV)

WHEN WE, CHILDREN OF GOD, ARE BORN INTO THE WORLD, BEFORE WE RECEIVE THE BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE, WE ARE CARNAL MINDED. THE CARNAL MIND, THE FLESHLY MIND OF SENSE, AND REASON, WITHOUT THE HOLY GHOST; IS NOT SUBJECT TO THE LAWS OF GOD, NEITHER INDEED CAN BE. THEREFORE, WE RUN WITH THE CHILDREN OF SATAN ON THE BROADWAY, THAT LEADS TO DESTRUCTION; FROM TIME TO TIME TRANSGRESSING GOD'S COMMANDMENTS.

Rom:8:5: For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Rom:8:6: For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Rom:8:7: Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Rom:8:8: So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

BROTHERS, AND SISTERS IN CHRIST, IN THE FULLNESS OF TIME, GOD CALLS HIS CHILDREN, THE ELECT, TO REPENTANCE. AND, WHEN WE HEAR THE GOSPEL PREACHED, FAITH COMES INTO OUR HEARTS. AND, WE ARE BAPTIZED OUT OF THE WORLD, AND INTO HE BODY OF CHRIST.

Gal:3:27: For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (KJV)

WHEN A CHILD OF GOD IS BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, THEY COME INTO THE PROMISE THAT THEY SHALL RECEIVED GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST.

Acts:2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (KJV)

SAINTS OF GOD WHEN WE, THE CHILDREN OF GOD, RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST, IT IS THE EARNEST OF OUR INHERITANCE.

Eph:1:13: In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Eph:1:14: Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (KJV)

WHEN WE RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST, THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL COMES TO LIFE, AND WE BECOME A NEW CREATION, A NEW CREATURE. OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY, ALL THINGS BECOME NEW. THE WATER OF OUR BAPTISM WASHES OUR SINS AWAY, AND WE ARE FREE FROM SIN.

2Cor:5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

WHEN A PERSON IS FIRST BORN AGAIN, WE ARE A BABE IN CHRIST, IF WE SIN IN IGNORANCE WE CAN CONFESS THAT SIN AND BE FORGIVEN.

1Jn:1:9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV)

WHEN WE, CHILDREN OF GOD RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST, THE HOLY GHOST GIVES US THE POWER TO LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE. WE HAVE ALL SINNED BUT WE DO NOT CONTINUE IN SIN.

1Jn:3:9: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (KJV)

BUT ONCE A PERSON HAS RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST, AND HAS BECOME A MATURE CHRISTIAN. FOR EXAMPLE THEY KNOW ABOUT REPENT FROM DEAD WORKS, THEY KNOW ABOUT FAITH TOWARD GOD, AND ABOUT BAPTISM, AND THE LAYING ON OF HANDS, THEY KNOW ABOUT THE ETERNAL JUDGMENT, THEN THEY ARE ON PROBATION TO SEE IF THEY ARE FIT TO SPEND ETERNITY WITH GOD. IF A PERSON SINS WILLFULLY AFTER THEY HAVE COME INTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SIN. IF A PERSON SINS WILFULLY AFTER THEY COME INTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH THREE SERIOUS EVENTS TAKE PLACE. FIRST, THEY TROD UNDER FOOT THE SON OF GOD, SECOND, THEY COUNT THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT AN UNHOLY THING, AND FINALLY, THEY DO DESPITE UNTO THE SPIRIT OF GRACE.

Heb:10:26: For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb:10:27: But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Heb:10:28: He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Heb:10:29: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Heb:10:30: For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Heb:10:31: It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

CHILDREN OF LIGHT, THERE IS A SIMILAR LAW UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES.

Nm:15:27: And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.

Nm:15:28: And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.

Nm:15:29: Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

Nm:15:30: But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Nm:15:31: Because he hath despised the word of the Lord, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

IN YOUR TIME OF TESTING, HERE ARE THE THINGS THAT YOU MUST BE VERY CAREFUL OF. THE THINGS THAT YOU SAY, SPEAK AS IF YOU ARE READING THE ORACLES OF GOD. FOR EVERY WORD THAT YOU SPEAK IS BEING RECORDED.

Mt:12:35: A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Mt:12:36: But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Mt:12:37: For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

BROTHERS, AND SISTERS IN CHRIST, YOU MUST BE VERY CAREFUL OF THE THINGS THAT YOU DO. COUNT THE COST; IF A MAN GOES INTO A HARLOT AND COMMITS ADULTERY THE TOTAL PRICE HE PAYS IS NOT THE FEW DOLLARS. BUT HE GIVES UP HIS INHERITANCE OF SUCH MARVELOUS GIFTS AS ETERNAL LIFE, THE IMMORTAL BODY, AND HIS INHERITANCE IN THE HEAVENLY CITY NEW JERUSALEM. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL NOT TO DO THE WORKS OF THE FLESH.

Gal:5:19: Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Gal:5:20: Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Gal:5:21: Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

THE FALSE PROPHET WOULD HAVE YOU TO BELIEVE THAT YOU CANNOT LOSE YOUR SALVATION. THEY PREACH YOU ARE HEADED STRAIGHT FOR HEAVEN. AND THEY TRY TO SELL YOU THEIR SERMONS. BUT DISTINGUISH REALITY, FROM MAKE BELIEF. GOD IS GOOD TO THE GOOD BUT HE IS SEVER TO THOSE THAT TRANSGRESS HIS COMMANDMENTS. REMEMBER HOW THAT SATAN WAS CAST OUT OF HEAVEN. REMEMBER HOW THAT ADAM WAS DRIVEN FROM GARDEN OF EDEN, DRIVEN FROM THE TREE OF LIFE. THINK ON THIS SCRIPTURE.

Rom:11:22: Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

REMEMBER THIS SAINTS OF GOD, DURING THIS LIFE TIME, IS THE ONLY OPPORTUNITY YOU WILL HAVE TO INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD, FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT, KEEP THE FAITH, FINISH THE COURSE.
