IF YOU ARE A NEW COVERT TO THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, YOU MAY NOT KNOW WHO THE HOLY GHOST IS. WE, FUNDALMENTALIST CHRISTIANS, BELIEVE THAT THERE IS ONE GODHEAD. AND IN THE GODHEAD THERE ARE THREE DEVINE PERSONS. GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND GOD THE HOLY GHOST.

Col:2:8: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Col:2:9: For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

CHILDREN OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH, THE HOLY GHOST IS MENTIONED AS THE THIRD PERSON OF THE TRINITY.

Mt:28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: KJV)

SAINTS OF GOD, WE, THE CHILDREN OF GOD, ARE SAVED BY GRACE. GRACE IS AN UNMERITED FAVOR. BEFORE WE WERE BORN, BEFORE WE HAD DONE ANY GOOD OR EVIL, WE THE CHILDREN OF GOD, FOUND FAVOR IN THE EYES OF GOD. BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, GOD KNEW US, LOVED US, ELECTED, SELECTED, HAND PICKED US, TO BE HIS VERY OWN. ONLY THE ELECT OF GOD, THE PREDESTINATED SHALL BE SAVED. ONLY THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN PREDESTINATED TO BE ADOPTED INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD SHALL BE SAVED.

Eph:1:1: Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Eph:1:2: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Eph:1:3: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Eph:1:4: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Eph:1:5: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Eph:1:6: To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

CHILDREN OF GOD, I KNOW THAT THERE ARE MEN THAT PREACH THAT ALL MEN ARE CHILDREN OF GOD; BUT THAT IS NOT SO. GOD HAS HIS CHILDREN, AND SATAN HAS HIS CHILDREN. THERE ARE MEN THAT PREACH GOD LOVES ALL MEN, BUT THAT IS HERESY. GOD LOVES HIS CHILDREN. BUT, HATES THE CHILDREN OF SATAN. BEFORE A MAN IS BORN, BEFORE HE HAS DONE ANY GOOD OR EVIL GOD EITHER LOVES HIM, OR HATES HIM.

Rom:9:10: And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;

Rom:9:11: (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

Rom:9:12: It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

Rom:9:13: As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Rom:9:14: What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

Rom:9:15: For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Rom:9:16: So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

BELOVED OF GOD, WHEN GOD CREATED HIS CHILDREN, HE CREATED US IN SUCH A WAY THAT WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO BELIEVE WITHOUT SEEING, WE HAVE FAITH. FOR BY GRACE ARE WE SAVED, THROUGH FAITH, AND NOT OF OURSELVES IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD.

Eph:2:7: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Eph:2:8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph:2:9: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Eph:2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

CHILDREN OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR SATAN'S CHILDREN TO RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST, FOR THE HOLY GHOST MUST, LET ME REPEAT, "MUST" BE RECEIVED BY FAITH. SATAN'S CHILDREN ARE FAITHLESS, THEREFORE THEY CANNOT RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST BECAUSE THEY CANNOT SEE HIM. IF SATAN'S CHILDREN CANNOT SEE, THEY CANNOT BELIEVE AND RECEIVE.

Jn:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Jn:14:16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Jn:14:17: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Jn:14:18: I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

WHAT AM I TRYING TO TELL YOU, BELOVED OF GOD? BASICALLY THIS, ONLY THE CHILDREN OF GOD CAN RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST, ONLY THE ELECT, ONLY THOSE OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH, ONLY THE PREDESTINATED, CAN RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST. GOD HAS MADE HIS CHILDREN A VERY PRECIOUS PROMISE, AND THAT IS ; IF WE WILL REPENT, AND BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, FOR THE REMISSION OF SIN, WE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. BUT MULTITUDES OF MEN, WILL NOT BAPTISE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. THEREFORE, I SUSPECT THEIR CANIDATES FOR BAPTISM DO NOT RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST. YOU MAY WONDER WHY I SUSPECT THEIR CANIDATES DO NOT RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST BECAUSE, THEY HAVE ALL THE SYMTOMS OF THE CARNAL MIND, THEY DO NOT USE THE BIBLE AS THE AUTHORITY UNDER CHRIST. THEY DO NOT ALLOW THEIR MEMBERS TO SPEAK IN TONGUES, THERE IS NO INTERPRETATION, THEY CONFESS THEY CANNOT LIVE ABOVE SIN, THEIR WOMEN DO NOT COVER THEIR HEADS WHEN THEY PRAY, THEY DO NOT ALLOW THEIR CONGREGATION TO CALL FOR THE ELDERS OF THE CHURCH WHEN THEY ARE SICK, THEY DO NOT PRAY OVER THE SICK, AND ANOINT THEM WITH OIL. THEIR WOMEN ARE NOT SILENT IN CHURCH. THE APOSTLE PETER SAID THESE WORDS ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST.

Acts:2:36: Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Acts:2:37: Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Acts:2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts:2:39: For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Acts:2:40: And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

LET ME REPEAT, TO RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST, A PERSON MUST BE A CHILD OF GOD, MUST BE OF THE ELECT OF GOD, MUST BE OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH, MUST BE PREDESTINATED. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST AT HIS BAPTISM, THE GENTILES AT THE HOUSE OF CORNELIUS RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST, AND THEN WERE BAPTIZED. THE APOSTLE PAUL RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST AFTER A DISCIPLE BY THE NAME OF ANANIAS LAID HANDS UPON HIM. BUT, I BELIEVE THAT IN THIS DISPENSATION MOST CHILDREN OF GOD RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST, AFTER THEY ARE BAPTISED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. FOR EXAMPLE THE APOSTLE PAUL MET SOME OF THE DISCIPLES OF JOHN, AND HE ASKED THEM THIS QUESTION. "HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST SINCE YOU BELIEVED?"

Acts:19:1: And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, Acts:19:2: He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

Acts:19:3: And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

Acts:19:4: Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

Acts:19:5: When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts:19:6: And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. Acts:19:7: And all the men were about twelve.

DID YOU NOTICE, SAINTS OF GOD, THAT THE APOSTLE PAUL BAPTIZED THE DISCIPLES OF JOHN IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, AND THEN HE LAID HIS HANDS ON THEM AND THEY RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST. IT WAS AFTER THE APOSTLE PAUL LAID HIS HANDS UPON THEM, THAT THEY RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST. SOME MEN PREACH THAT JUST AS SOON AS YOU BELIEVE, THAT YOU RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST. OTHER MEN PREACH THAT A PERSON RECEIVES THE HOLY WHEN THEY ARE BAPTIZED. BUT, THAT IS NOT NECESSARILY SO. THERE WAS A DEACON, BY THE NAME OF PHILIP, THAT WENT DOWN INTO SAMARIA, AND PREACHED THE KINGDOM OF GOD TO THE SAMARITIANS. AND THEY BELIEVED PHILIP'S PREACHING, AND WERE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. BUT THE HOLY GHOST FELL UPON NONE OF THEM. WHEN THE CHURCH AT JERUSALEM, HEARD THAT SAMARIA HAD RECEIVED THE WORD OF GOD, THEY SENT PETER, AND JOHN DOWN TO THEM. AND, WHEN THEY HAD COME DOWN, THEY PRAYED FOR THE SAMARIANS THAT THEY MIGHT RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST. AND, WHEN THEY LAID THEIR HANDS ON THEM, THEY RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST.

Acts:8:14: Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

Acts:8:15: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

Acts:8:16: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

Acts:8:17: Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

IF YOU ARE A NEW CONVERT TO THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, CHILD OF GOD, YOU MAY NOT BE FAMILIAR WITH THE RITUAL OF THE LAYING ON OF HANDS. LET ME EXPLAIN WHY WE, THE SAINTS OF GOD, PERFORM THE RITUAL OF THE LAYING ON OF HANDS. WHEN A CHILD OF GOD IS BAPTIZED OUT OF THE WORLD, AND INTO THE BODY OF CHRIST. HE BECOMES A MEMBER IN THE BODY OF CHRIST. AND, WHEN HE LAYS HIS HANDS ON SOMEONE, THE BODY OF CHRIST IS TOUCHING THAT PERSON.

1Cor:12:27: Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. (KJV)

AND I BELIEVE, LITTLE CHILDREN, THAT JESUS CHRIST TAKES OF THE SPIRIT THAT IS ON US, AND PLACES IT UPON THE CANIDATE TO RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST. FOR IT IS JESUS CHRIST THAT BAPTISES WITH THE HOLY GHOST. IN THESE VERSES OF SCRIPTURE, JOHN THE BAPTIST, IS SPEAKING OF JESUS CHRIST, GOD'S DARLING SON, AND HE SAYS THESE WORDS.

Jn:1:31: And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.

Jn:1:32: And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

Jn:1:33: And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

NOW, CONCERNING THE TAKING OF THE SPIRIT THAT IS UPON THE MEN OF GOD, AND PLACING IT UPON THE CANIDATE SEEKING THE HOLY GHOST. WHEN MOSES' WAS IN THE WILDERNESS, THE BURDEN OF JUDGING THE PEOPLE BECAME TO HEAVY FOR HIM. THEREFORE, HE CRIED UNTO THE LORD, AND THE LORD HEARD HIS PRAYER. AND COMMANDED MOSES TO GATHER SEVENTY OF THE ELDERS OF ISRAEL, AND BRING THEM TO THE TABERNACLE OF CONGREGATION, AND HE WOULD COME DOWN, AND TALK WITH HIM, AND TAKE OF THE SPIRIT THAT WAS ON HIM, AND PLACED IT UPON THE ELDERS. THAT THEY MIGHT BEAR THE LOAD WITH HIM. IN THESE VERSES OF SCRIPTURE MOSES IS SPEAKING TO THE LORD GOD, AND SAYS THESE WORDS.

Nm:11:14: I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.

Nm:11:15: And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.

Nm:11:16: And the Lord said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.

Nm:11:17: And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.

LET ME CONCLUDE WITH THIS THOUGHT, THE LORD HAS SAID, "YOU HAVE NOT, BECAUSE YOU ASK NOT.

Lk:11:9: And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Lk:11:10: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Lk:11:11: If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

Lk:11:12: Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

Lk:11:13: If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

CHILDREN OF LIGHT, HOW CAN A PERSON TELL WHEN THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST? THEY BECOME A NEW CREATURE. OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY, ALL THINGS BECOME NEW. AND, THEY CAN LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE WITHOUT SIN.
