reetings,
holy children of God, in the wonderful name of our lord and saviour Jesus, the Christ.
The sermon subject for today is: Job speaks of the resurrection on this wise. Job:14:12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. 13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! What is the definition of the word "resurrection"? It is the revival, the bringing to life again of a dead human body. In the resurrection we are born from the dead, never to die again. In creation Jesus Christ was the first born of every creature, and in the resurrection Jesus Christ, the son of the Virgin Mary, is the first born from the dead. That He may be preeminent in all things. Colossians1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; Martha speaks of the Resurrection Day as the last day. John :11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? When shall eternity begin? An angel shall make the declaration of the end of time. Revelation 10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer. God created the Lord Jesus Christ, His Son. Jesus is the first born of every creature. Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. When God created the Lord Jesus He created Him a quickening Spirit, a life giving Spirit. 1Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Jesus Christ gives life to every person that comes into this world. John:1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And it was by Jesus Christ that God created all things. Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: When Jesus Christ created man He created man a trinity in unity, body, soul, and spirit. The body can die, and the soul live on. James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. The soul of man, the inward man, can die, and the body live on. Proverbs 6:32But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. When a born again Child of God dies physically the soul goes to be with the Lord. 2 Corinthians5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. When a Child of God dies the physical death the body is planted in weakness, but it is raised in power. 1Corinthians:15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It' s sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. There are men that preach that the church shall not go through the Great Tribulation. But that is heresy. It is the Saints of God that were beheaded during the Great Tribulation that shall rise in the first resurrection. Revelations:20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Shall the fleshly body be raised in the surrection? reincarnate defined is "to be made flesh again." I believe that we shall be reincarnated because of these scriptures recorded by Job. Job:19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. It is the Soul of man that shall live in eternity, for the soul of man is renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians:4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. The things we see are temporary, but the things that are not seen are eternal. We shall not all die, but we shall all be changed. This mortal body shall put on immortality. 1Corinthians15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The things you see are temporary, things that are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. The things that God has created shall be for ever. Ecclesiastes 3:14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. It is appointed unto man once to die, and then come the judgment. I do not believe that a person will be able to hid from God in the resurrection. John:5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. 30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. There are multitudes of people that do not believe in the resurrection. You may wonder how I know this to be a fact. If a person believes in the resurrection, and that they will have to give an account of their deeds done in this life on Judgment Day. They would not transgress the commandments of God, they would not lie, steal, commit adultery, preach and teach heresies, and similar acts. During the days that Jesus Christ dwelt among men the Sadducees did not believe in the resurrection. Matthew 22:23The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection. Is it a necessity to a persons salvation to believe in the resurrection? Yes. Romans10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. It is appointed unto man once to die, and after this the judgment. The fleshly body shall die, but the inward man the soul shall live on. Eccl:3:14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. It would be a terrible thing if the grave would be the end. All the days of our lives we would be terrified of dieing. But we know the grave is not the end because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because God has raised Jesus from the dead it has begotten us to a lively hope that God shall also raise us up. 1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you. Is it possible to have a better resurrection? Yes, if a person will grow in Grace and Knowledge. 2Peter1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Is it possible to hide from the Lord God in the resurrection? No, I do not believe that a person will be able to hide from God. Revelation 6:15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Will a person be able to hide from God by being buried at sea? No, in the Resurrection the sea shall give up it's dead. Revelation 20:12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Shall a man be able to hide from God on Judgment Day if he dies in some far off place and his body turns to dust, and the wind blows the dust away? No, God shall speak, and the ground will begin to shake, and the bones will come to gather. Ezekiel 37:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. 4Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. 5Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:6And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. If the Elect of God will love God John:14:15, if they will repent Lk:13:5, will be strong in faith, Acts:16:31 will be born of water, baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and the Spirit Acts:2:38, eat of the flesh, and drink of the blood of Jesus, John:6:53 wash the Saints feet and allow them to wash their feet John:13:8, be fruitful John:15:2 and abstain from the works of the flesh Galatians:5:19 Rev.21:8 they will have a better resurrection. If you would love to have an abundant entrance into the everlasting kingdom of God take faith, and add to faith knowledge. 2Peter:1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Saints of God, the most wonderful thing that will happen to the Elect of God in this present world is the receiving of the Holy Ghost. May you and your family be blessed all the Days of your Life, and in the world to come receive eternal life.
