reetings,
holy children of God, in the wonderful name of our lord and saviour Jesus, the Christ.
The sermon subject for today is: If you are a young person you may not be acquainted with what Sodomy actually is. According to Webster, Sodomy defined is, abnormal sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex or between a person, and an animal. I believe, that the name of this sin comes from the city of Sodom, which God in his anger destroyed. Let me at this time acquaint you with the sexual acts that are utterly abominable in the eyes of God. Reading from the book of, Leviticus 18:1 and the lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the lord your God, 3. After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do; and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their ordinances. 4. Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein; I am the lord your God. 5. Ye shall ;therefore keep my statues, and my judgments; which if a man do, he shall live in them; I am the lord. 6. None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness; I am the lord. 7. The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shall thou not uncover; she is thy mother. Thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. 8. The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover; it is thy father's nakedness. 9. The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shall not uncover. 10. The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for there's is thine own nakedness. 11. The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. 12. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister; she is thy father's near kinswoman. 13. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister; for she is thy mother's near kinswoman. 14. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife; she is thine aunt. 15. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law; she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. 16. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife; it is thy brother's nakedness. 17. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter; neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness for they are her near kinswomen, it is wickedness. 18. Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her lifetime. 19. Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness. 20. Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her. 21. And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Moloch, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God; I am the lord. 22. Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination. 23. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto; it is confusion. 24. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you; 25. And the land is defiled; therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. 26. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation nor any stranger that sojourneth among you; 27. For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) 28. That the land spew not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spewed out the nations that were before you. 29. For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people. 30. Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein; I am the lord your God. Listen carefully saints of God, why were the canaanites driven out of their nation. Because they committed sexual acts that were disgusting to God, acts that were an abomination to God. Did you notice as I read the abominable acts, homosexual acts, were an abomination to God. Let me refresh your memory by reading that verse of scripture again. Leviticus 18:22 thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination. When nations, base their laws on the written word of God, I believe that they have a solid foundation for their laws. But, when a nation does not base their laws, on the written word of God, the foundation of their legal system, is build on what I would consider sinking sand. There is a strong force in this nation, trying to legalize homosexual marriages: which is actually trying to legalize Sodomy. If men, and women, know that God drove a whole nation, from their homeland, because of such disgusting sex acts. How does a law, such as this, even get such consideration? Why tempt God? If we know that God rained fire and brimstone upon Sodom, and Gomorrah, destroying these two cities because of the sin of Sodomy, why tempt God to do the same to our great nation? For hundreds of years, homosexual men, and women, hide their sexual preference. But, because of the multitude of homosexuals, they have come out of the closet, and are now very bold with their sexual preference. In large cities, thousands turn out to watch them parade through the streets, with much pomp. How does a law, such as homosexual marriages, get before a senate for consideration? When you see evil, think money. Because the love of money is the root of all evil. Saints of God, come into this knowledge, the carnal mind the mind of sense, and reason, the fleshly mind, without the Holy Ghost is not subject to the laws of God, neither indeed can be. Therefore before the lord God calls his children to repentance, we all run with the children of Satan transgressing the laws of God. Some have committed the sins afore mentioned. But after a person has received the washing of regeneration, and the renewing of the holy, the inward man the soul comes to life, and God's seed is in us. And we cannot sin, because we are born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil. He that doth righteousness is righteous, he that committeth sin is of the devil. 1 John 3:1 behold what manner of love the father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God, therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him: for we shall see him as he is. 3. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 4. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin. 6. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not; whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7. Little children let no man deceive you; he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil; whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. Let me at this time, saints of God, point out that every man, woman, and child has an appointment to stand before God. And, God by Jesus Christ, shall judge the rich, and the poor, the strong, and the weak; by the gospel according to the apostle Paul. And, those that commit foul sins, sins that are disgusting to God, the abominable sin, shall receive the second death. The apostle Paul was inspired of God to record these words Romans 2:16 in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. The apostle john was inspired of God, to record these words Revelations 21:8 but the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. God has blessed the United States of America, with great freedom; freedom of worship, freedom of speech, freedom to travel, freedom of the press. There has never, in the history of the world, been another country, that has been blessed as this nation, with such freedom. God has bless this nation with an abundance of good food, nice clothes, beautiful homes to live in, fast automobiles, and many other things to make life pleasant. God has a hedge about this nation, as he had about job, and his family. But when a nation becomes corrupt morally, then comes destruction. In this century, there have been many wars. World war I, world war 11, Korean War, Vietnam conflicts. And in these wars, millions of peoples have lose their lives. But, never, let me repeat, but never have men known the art of mass destruction, as they do this day. The bible says that in later days shall be perilous times, and I believe that we are in those days now. 11 Timothy 3:1 this know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come, for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4. Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5. Having a form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof ; from such turn away. 6. For of this sort are they, which creep into houses, and lead captive silly womenladen with sins, led away with divers lusts. 7. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Holy children, never in the history of the world, have men had the power to destroy whole nations as they have this day. But when the lord Jesus Christ returns he shall gather all nations before him. And he shall divide them as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats. What am I trying to tell you? Simply this; judgment day is coming. Heaven is there for the righteous, but hell, and the lake, of fire is there for the wicked. A place of no hope, a place were a person cannot expect any future good. A place were the fire is never quenched, and the worms never die. Let me refresh your memory with these words. Jesus Christ creator of heaven, and earth, and all that is in them, is speaking and he says these words. St.Luke 16:19 there was a certain rich man which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day. 20. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores. 21. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs, which fell from the rich man's table, moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom; the rich man also died, and was buried; 23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24. And he cried and said, father Abraham, have water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25. But Abraham said, son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26. And beside all this, between us and thee is a great gulf fixed; so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house. 28. For I have five brethren that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29. Abraham saith unto him. They have Moses and the prophets; let hear them. 30. And he said, nay, father Abraham; but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31. And he said unto him, if they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
