OF ALL THE WORDS IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, I BELIEVE THAT THE WORD LIGHT, IS AMONG THOSE THAT HAVE THE LONGEST DEFINITIONS. LET ME GIVE YOU JUST A FEW OF THE DEFINITIONS OF LIGHT; KNOWLEDGE, AS ENLIGHTMENT; NOT HEAVY, SIGHT, AS THE EYE IS THE LIGHT OF THE BODY, TO LOOK AT SOMETHING IN A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE, TO SEE THE LIGHT; SOMETHING THAT ILLUMINATES,AS CANDLE LIGHT; LIFE ; AS LIFE IS THE LIGHT OF MEN. WITH THAT THOUGHT IN MIND. THINK ON THESE SCRIPTURES. THE APOSTLE JOHN RECORDED THESE WORDS ABOUT JESUS,

Jn:1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jn:1:2: The same was in the beginning with God.

Jn:1:3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Jn:1:4: In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Jn:1:5: And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not

BELOVED OF GOD, IN THE BEGINNING BEFORE THE SUN AND THE MOON, GOD THE FATHER SPOKE, AND HE TOOK HIS WORD, AND SHAPED IT AND FORMED IT IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE WORD OF GOD, BECAME THE SON OF GOD. AND, IT WAS BY THE LORD JESUS CHRIST THAT GOD THE FATHER CREATED ALL THINGS.

Eph:3:9: And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: (KJV)

SAINTS OF GOD, WHEN GOD THE FATHER CREATED THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, HE CREATED HIM A QUICKENING SPIRIT. WHEN JESUS CHRIST CREATED ADAM, HE CREATED HIM A LIVING SOUL. IN CHRIST IS LIFE, AND HE GIVES LIFE TO EVERY MAN THAT IS BORN INTO THE WORLD.

Jn:1:4: In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (KJV)

BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY GOD EVER FORMED, FORMED FROM THE WORD OF GOD, THE FIRST BORN OF EVERY CREATURE, THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS, AND HE WAS CREATED EQUAL TO GOD THE FATHER. FOR ANY TWO THINGS TO BE EQUAL THEY HAVE TO BE IDENTICAL. THEREFORE WAS JESUS OF THE SAME SUBSTANCE AS GOD THE FATHER, DOES HE HAVE THE SAME POWER, IS HE THE SAME SIZE? YES, JESUS CHRIST IS IDENTICAL TO THE FATHER. THE APOSTLE PAUL SPEAKING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST RECORDS THESE WORDS.

Phil:2:6: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (KJV)

CHILDREN OF LIGHT, JESUS CHRIST IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. IT IS HE THAT GIVES LIFE TO EVERY MAN BORN INTO THE WORLD, IT IS HE THAT IS THE SOURCE OF ALL WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. IT IS HE THAT MAKES OUR BURDENS LIGHT. IT IS HE THAT OPENS OUR UNDERSTANDING TO THE HOLY SCRIPTURES.

Jn:8:12: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (KJV)

THE APOSTLE MATTHEW RECORDS, IT IS JESUS CHRIST THAT MAKES OUR BURDENS LIGHT. THESE ARE THE WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST, OUR CREATOR.

Mt:11:28: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Mt:11:29: Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Mt:11:30: For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (KJV)

BELOVED OF GOD, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, SPEAKING OF THE CHILDREN OF GOD, HAS SAID, "YE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD." HOW ARE WE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD? WE, THE CHILDREN OF GOD, CALL OURSELVES CHRISTIANS, WHICH MEANS TO BE CHRIST LIKE. WE LET OUR LIGHT SHINE BY THE WAY THAT WE ACT, THE THINGS THAT WE SAY, AND THE THINGS THAT WE DO. WHEN CHRIST JESUS SAYS, "YE" IN THIS VERSE OF SCRIPTURE HE IS SPEAKING OF THE CHILDREN OF THE HOUSE HOLD OF FAITH, THE ELECT OF GOD, THOSE PREDESTINATED BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD TO BE ADOPTED INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD, PREDETERMINED TO EAT OF THE TREE OF LIFE, ORDAINED TO WALK UPON THE STREET OF GOLD, TO BE HEIR, AND JOINT HEIRS WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. LISTEN CAREFULLY, AS I READ THESE VERSES OF SCRIPTURE, IN WHICH JESUS CHRIST SAYS THAT WE, THE BORN AGAIN CHILDREN OF GOD, ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.

Mt:5:14: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Mt:5:15: Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Mt:5:16: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven

SAINTS OF GOD, WE, AS CHILDREN OF GOD, ARE COMMANDED TO LET OUR LIGHT SHINE. HOW DO WE LET OUR LIGHT SHINE? IF YOU SEE A PERSON THAT IS IGNORANT OF GOD' S LAW, AND IS ABOUT TO COMMIT A SIN IN IGNORANCE, WE ARE TO ENLIGHTEN THEM. FOR EXAMPLE IF A MAN IS ABOUT TO MARRY A WOMAN THAT IS DIVORCED, AND HAS A LIVING HUSBAND. A MAN IS ABOUT TO MARRY INTO ADULTERY, WE ARE TO TELL THE PERSON THAT HE IS MARRYING INTO ADULTERY. YOU MAY WONDER HOW I KNOW THAT HE IS MARRYING INTO ADULTERY? BY THESE SCRIPTURES

Rom:7:1: Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

Rom:7:2: For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

Rom:7:3: So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

COME INTO THIS KNOWLEDGE CHILD OF GOD, ADULTERY DESTROYS THE SOUL. THIS BODY OF FLESH, AND BLOOD SHALL PERISH. IT IS THE SOUL OF MAN THAT LIVES IN ETERNITY.

Prv:6:32: But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. (KJV)

2Cor:4:16: For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. (KJV)

BUT, BE ON GUARD, ELECT OF GOD, FOR WHEN YOU TELL SOMEONE THEY ARE IN ADULTERY, OR THEY ARE ABOUT TO MARRY INTO ADULTERY. REMEMBER JOHN THE BAPTIST WAS BEHEADED BECAUSE HE TOLD HEROD THAT IT WAS NOT LAWFUL FOR HIM TO HAVE HIS BROTHER PHILIPS WIFE, EVEN THOUGH HE HAD MARRIED HER. Mk:6:16: But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.

Mk:6:17: For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.

Mk:6:18: For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.

Mk:6:19: Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:

Mk:6:20: For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.

Mk:6:21: And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;

Mk:6:22: And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.

Mk:6:23: And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.

Mk:6:24: And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.

Mk:6:25: And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.

Mk:6:26: And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.

Mk:6:27: And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,

CHRISTIAN BRETHREN, DO NOT EXPECT PEOPLE TO THANK YOU WHEN YOU LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE, AND INFORM THEM WHEN THEY ARE ABOUT TO SIN IN IGNORANCE. FOR MEN LOVE DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT. JESUS CHRIST IS SPEAKING AND HE SAYS THESE WORDS.

Jn:3:18: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jn:3:19: And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Jn:3:20: For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Jn:3:21: But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

HOLY CHILDREN, LIGHT AND DARKNESS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE. EVEN IN THE BEGINNING BEFORE THE SUN, AND THE MOON GOD SAID "LET THERE BE LIGHT." AND GOD DIVIDED THE LIGHT FROM THE DARKNESS. AND THE DARKNESS COMPREHENDED IT NOT.

Jn:1:5: And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (KJV)

WE, AS CHILDREN OF GOD, ARE NOT TO BE YOKED TOGETHER WITH CHILDREN OF SATAN. AS GOD DIVIDED LIGHT FROM DARKNESS IN THE BEGINNING, WE AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT ARE TO SEPARATE FROM CHILDREN OF DARKNESS. IF A MAN MARRIES A WOMAN, AND NEITHER ONE OF THEM ARE CHRISTIAN. AND THE WOMAN GETS SAVED, AND SANCTIFIED. IT IS NOT NECESSARY FOR HER TO GO HOME, AND DIVORCE HER HUSBAND. FOR THE BELIEVING WIFE WILL SANCTIFY HER HUSBAND, AND HER CHILDREN. A BELIEVING HUSBAND WILL SANCTIFY HIS WIFE, AND HIS CHILDREN, BUT IF NEITHER ONE BELIEVES, THE CHILDREN ARE UNCLEAN.

1Cor:7:12: But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

1Cor:7:13: And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

1Cor:7:14: For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

WE, AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT, ARE NOT TO MARRY CHILDREN OF DARKNESS. THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CLEAN, AND UNCLEAN. BETWEEN SANCTIFIED, AND UNSANCTIFIED. THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOLY, AND UNHOLY. IF THAT WHICH IS CLEAN TOUCHES

THAT WHICH IS UNCLEAN, THE CLEAN WILL NOT MAKE THE UNCLEAN CLEAN; BUT WILL POLLUTE THE CLEAN. THE LORD COMMANDS HIS CHILDREN, THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT, TO COME OUT FROM AMONG THE CHILDREN OF DARKNESS AND TO TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING.

2Cor:6:14: Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2Cor:6:15: And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

2Cor:6:16: And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2Cor:6:17: Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

2Cor:6:18: And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

LET ME CONCLUDE WITH THIS THOUGHT ABOUT LETTING YOUR LIGHT SHINE. GOD ALMIGHTY SAID THESE WORDS TO THE PROPHET EZEKIEL.

Ez:3:17: Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

Ez:3:18: When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Ez:3:19: Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Ez:3:20: Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Ez:3:21: Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
