Meet our new librarian, Lindsay Schuler!
Our library is a kid-friendly, kid focused part of the Burks family, open to learners, facilitators, and parents alike. It is an exciting place to be! Storytelling, story writing, puppet making, research, and book checkout are several of the library activities that keep our girls and boys busy here.
Technology is incorporated into the variety of reading and research materials as children are able to access interesting and appropriate resources from CD-Rom and the Internet with adult supervision and guidance. Books are very valued at Burks and are enhancing learning. Several hundred new titles in fiction and nonfiction were added to our collection this year.
