Red Pepper Pesto


3 sweet red peppers
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup tightly packed nastursium leaves and flowers
2/3 cup sunflower seeds
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup almond oil
4 ounces grated asagio cheese
3/4 cup bread crumbs

Roast peppers and onion (I sliced them and sauteed them without oil in a non-stick skillet, but you can use the oven or the grill if you like). Dump all ingredients, large ones first, in the bowl of a food processor, blend one at a time until rather smooth. Serve with pasta, mixing well (I like it with rotini).
