Good Things in Us

In a letter to his friend Philemon Paul wrote, "I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers, hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints, that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgement of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus." (vv.4-6) Our sharing of faith, our fellowship, our generosity, and our ability to minister to others comes about by discovering the blessings God has placed in each of us.

Here's how to put this in our lives:

1) Realize that God has special blessings in you.
2) Try doing different things to discover what these blessings are.
3) Listen to others. If your gift is real it will probably be affirmed by people who are blessed by it.
4) Use your "good gift" to minister to others as much as you can.

God Bless you.
