I had a friend in college who was discouraged with God. He had grown up in an abusive home, and had set a goal for himself to get through college. But he struggled; he was working extremely hard and just barely making it through. He told me about his anger with God because of the difficulties he faced.
Sometimes we can get frustrated with the cards we're dealt in the game of life. When this happens it's best to be honest with God about our feelings. (We can't really hide our feelings and thoughts from God, since he knows our hearts.) Even Jesus, when he was on the cross, yelled out "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mark 15:34)
In the Bible the book of Job tells about a righteous man whose life was tormented by Satan. Job became frustrated and questioned God. Eventually God responded: "Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades, or loose the belt of Orion?" (Job 38:31)
Job found out that there are some questions we can't answer. but he also discovered the power and presence of God. If our troubles bring us closer to the power and presence of God, then we will be blessed in the end, like Job. (Job 42:12)
God Bless you.
