Join us for a light lunch followed by a meeting with the Board of Directors. There is no charge for this event. Please sign up in advance at the Administration Office to receive your free lunch ticket. Only paid-up 2008 members are eligible to attend. Our Annual Tree of Sharing campaign will take place April 1st - May 30th, 2008. Members, staff, friends and volunteers can purchase blossoms for $25, $30, or $75 for everyone to admire. Each bloom will be highlighted with the purchase's name. Tax receipts will be issued by the Older Adult Centres' Association of Ontario (OACAO). All donors will be invited to our Blossom Tea of Sharing on May 30, 2008. Donation will go towards assisting the Centre.

Provided through the Canada Safety Council, this in-class driver refresher program is designed to help people 55+ to maintain your independence and driving privileges, give you more confidence, improve your awareness, identify and correct bad driving habits. Overhead slides, handouts and a workbook will be used. Cost for the manual and kit is included in the course fee.
Course fee: $55.00 for 6 hours over 2 days. (Includes manual).

This fun afternoon highlights the talents of our members. Enjoy performances by our Jazz, Tap and Line Dance classes, as well as a variety of members performances. The first audition for individual performers will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. Please see Laura if you wish to try out.

Dr. Bruce Schneider, Professor of Psychology, University of Toronto at Mississauga, will be speaking on "Age-Related Changes in Hearing and Communication", followed by refreshments. Pick up your Free Ticket at the Administration Office.
A note on the speaker: "For more than 35 years, Professor Bruce Schneider has made significant scientific contributions in the fields of human auditory development and information processing by sensory and cognitive systems, both in infants and children, and in older adults." Dr. Schneider was the 2006 Recipient of the Faculty Award of Excellence, sponsored by the University of Toronto Alumni Association (UTAA).
