Every week (see posters around college for details) in House 8 our debaters meet for the weekly debating workshop. But don’t worry: "work" is the last thing on the minds of our fun-focussed organisers. Freshers at the workshops - or "our little shoppers" - have also been known to share sexual relationships. The workshops provide an excellent opportunity for you to hone your speaker skills whether you are a beginner or an experienced debater. They are chaired by some of Britain’s best debaters. They can be an end in themselves or build up to the national intervarsity circuit with the opportunity to travel at Cuth’s expense to other universities and even speak in front of large audiences.
