| John and Joe were playing golf one day and were playing pretty fast when they came up on a twosome of women who were playing really slowly. After about three holes of waiting and waiting and waiting, Joe said to John why don't you walk up there and see if they won't let us play through. If we don't get through them, we won't finish before dark. So John heads up to the green to see if they could play through. About half way up he makes an abrupt about face and returns to the Joe. Joe says what's wrong, wouldn't they let us play through? John replied, I couldn't ask them. When I got close enough to see who they were, I realized that one was my wife and the other was my lover. You'll have to go up and ask them. So Joe heads up to the green. About half way to the green he makes an about face and heads back. When he gets back to John he says "small world isn't it." |
