Then I have to admit you have great taste! Poetry is one of my loves....it has a way of fitting in with whatever mood you may be in...be it happy...sad....loving....you name it, someone has written something about it! The very best part about poetry is that we ourselves can compose it also. You don't have to be a genius. You only have to have a caring heart and an awful lot of emotions. It's a fantastic way of clearing our our soul when we are burdened, or lightening our hearts when we are happy. When I was surfing the net for cool sites on poetry I came across this poem in one of them. It was written by Gary J. Buris. I smiled as I read it as it so reminded me of myself and probably quite a few other people! Cyberspace Virtual rooms of infinite space become crowded when we take our place among the throngs whose faceless smiles greet us across the miles of fiber optic and copper wires. We seek to touch, to see, to feel the ones we know, who might not be real. Beyond that screen of light and glass thru which we cannot pass Our flesh and blood of reality. Images and voices we record and compress in neat little packages, prepared to be sent across the miles of the Inter-net thru places and people unknown to us yet. We sit, we wait, even anticipate the presence of they, who might be the one to fullfill our dreams and fantasys to come, in a future of virtual reality. With a thump, an ouch our head hits the screen. We come awake from this silly dream, look about and finally see, this is reality - right in my face, just my computer and me alone in this place! I have to admit as I have been doing this page, and going over all the information I found...I have a few more poems I would like to put on a page...I just can't control myself!!!
