It is a sad fact of life that there are many single parent families out there, both with single fathers and mothers. Fate can be very cruel as it does not discriminate. It affects people in all walks of life and of all ages. It doesn't care if you are rich or poor or just plain middle class.

We become single parents...not always by choice...but because of many different reasons. Some of us are widowed, divorced, deserted
or are single parents by choice.
However we got there, we all have, at one time or another, times in our lives when we need information or help so that we can cope with our situations.
