Get your own Free Home PageI am an accelerator operator at the Advanced Photon Source at Argonne National Laboratory. I've been there for just over 9 years. It's a pretty good job and ANL definitely looks good on a resume if I ever start looking again. I did a prolonged stint in the US Navy right after high school and that's what got me the job here. Since my job is very computer intensive, I've learned quite a bit about HTML and CGI as a supplement to my work. This collection of pages is my second attempt at a web page and I think that they are coming along nicely.
In what spare time I have I love to play golf and softball. I play volleyball when I can, but it hasn't been very frequently lately. I am an avid basketball, football and hockey fan. It probably looks like I am the biggest bandwaggoner in history because my favorite teams are the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bulls. Not that it matters, but I've been a Cowboys fan my whole life and I've been a Bulls homer since at least 1981.
Well, that's enough about me, let me tell you about the rest of the family.
Tracy is the one who keeps the family together. She's a former stay at home mom, who is now the Sales Supervisor of Paint and Hardware at our local Sears. She's a financial wizard (to handle our bills she has to be) and a gourmet cook. She may seem a little shy at first, but once you get to know her you find out how warm and caring she really is.
I guess you could call cooking a hobby of Tracy's, but she's probably done enough that she considers it a chore instead of a pleasure. She does do arts and crafts when she's not chasing the kids and they inevitably turn out to be amazing.
Tristan turned 10 in February and is in the Zenith program at his school. Zenith is a gifted program and Tristan excels in it. He's been reading since he was three or four and playing chess since he was five. He has his own homepage that he created himself. I have his solemn vow that he's going to start working on it again soon.
Tristan is very knowledgeable about sports, but his passion is Star Wars. Like most kids his age he is also addicted to Nintendo 64.
Adian shares his brother's birthday but came four years later. Adian has his own page too, but since I did the code, it probably won't get updated too frequently. Adian is really big for his age and sometimes his size belies how sweet he really is. He is a poet. My favorite Adian quote is, "I like twinkies because they taste like clouds".
Brittany is certainly a mighty mite. She was born Augsut 17, 1995. She's fearless and wants to do all the same stuff that her big brothers do. Her intelligence and energy keep Tracy and I on our toes. Brittany likes to share her artwork with the world and we frequently find our walls in need of a good scrubbing.
Ashlyn is the newest and final addition to the clan. She joined us September 20, 1998 and she's the bubbliest baby you'll ever meet.
So anyway, that's about it for now. Maybe one of these days I'll even get around to putting some family pictures on the web.
