During Bushwood event. It was playing into about a 1 club wind, with the pin tucked right in the front of the green, Patrick stiffed a 4 iron, which when he hit it, we all thought was a great shot if it was the right club. Patrick calmly stepped away from the tee, none of us were sure if we could actually see the hole or not and therefore whether the ball went into the hall, but the Patrick proclaimed that he had just made a hole in one and then did an awkward shuffling dance move that only a white guy with Irish roots can make. We rushed up to the green to take a look and when we got there and didn't see any balls around the flag, we all knew it had to be in the hole, which it was. |
