The Carl Spackler Open

The Carl Spackler Open was an almost annual event, started in 1992. Sadly, in 2003, interest waned to the point that it was put on hiatus. Hopefully, at some point in the future it will be revived and honored, as it deserves. The "Spackler", as it was affectionately referred to, was a four person best ball event. But more importantly, it was an event where people that truly appreciate everything that the immortal greenskeeper, Carl Spackler, stands for and has exemplified over the past 17 years since he came into prominence as a Cinderella Masters winner, could come together and share favorite moments at Bushwood or trade quotes from their favorite Bushwood members.
