A comparison of the orginal photograph and the same one after some Photoshop adjustments.
The top photo is the original. Bear in mind, this is an old photograph, and the film grains in 1952 were more coarse than the grains in todays films, hence the lack of critical sharpening.

Notice how much eaiser it is to see the pickup truck after some sharpening and contrast adjustments.

That's all I have right now, but keep checking back, I have lots of old photo to share. Hopefully the next batch I get posted will include my three beautiful daughters!

Just in case you did make it this far, and, if you ever happen to be in Ellicott City, please stop by the Judge's Bench and tell my golfing and poker buddy Buzz (he owns the place) that you have visited me at my home at Augusta. I took a great picture of Buzz while playing at Turf Valley Country Club in 1995. I'll get it posted soon. It's like one some news photographer took of President Clinton while he was playing golf. There's a copy of it hanging at the 'Bench'. By the way, the food there is good ( I love the Wednesday night shrimp special) and Mack makes great drinks!
