ACE IS BACK!! After more than a year, Ace returned to the Links. Even with a Bad Back, a braced right knee and a repaired Double Hernia, it was a great day.

This week the Group was John, Phill, Rudy and Gary. The course was Palm Desert CC, not in very good shape, but the price was right. The way Ace played it didn`t matter if it was a cow pasture, still would have been the same.

John(46+43=89-10=79)(NB)

Phill(45+45=90-16=74)(NB)

Rudy(37+38=75-8=67)(4+4,-1)

Gary(41+46=87-15=72)

The Group settled up at Casey`s. Had a little food, a little drink and alot of BS, ha, ha.

Ace had a fun day, but was worn out after 18. Gary did manage to win halve of low net and beat "The Pro" on the front, but that was it. Rudy won the back going away.

The short game was totaly gone, never made a chip or a putt. Did hit some good drives and irons, but not enough, just scrambled for bogies on the 1st 4 holes.

Saved a lot of $, by parring 4 of last 5 holes on the front. But only had 2 pars and 3 double bogies on the back.

Actually ran out of gas on the back nine, but that was expected.

Should be back on schedule for the season, just need a ton of practice. See, nothing changes but the time and the date. A year ago was crying about practice, BUT!! Oh well, Hope is Eternal!!
