The Links at Crowbush Cove is already being mentioned in the same breath as some of Canada's greatest golf courses. Nestled up against Prince Edward Island's north shore. the course is a dramatic hybrid of tough holes and scenic pleasures. It's no surprise that the Royal Canadian Golf Association has selected The Links at Crowbush Cove as site of the 1997 Canadian Amateur Golf Championship. The top Canadian and international golfers will be awestruck by holes such as the 11th hole, a long par five demanding three solid shots to reach the green. This hole is an example of the mixture of beauty and difficulty as the view from its tee allows golfers to see miles down the coast in each direction. Architect Tom McBroom has put together hole after hole in this genre. Long, natural grasses border most of the fairways and water is also prevalent. Mounding and strategic bunkering also add to the make-up of Crowbush making it a complete golf course in every sense of the word. In 1994, The Links at Crowbush Cove was named as one of Canada's best new courses by SCORE Magazine and ranked Canada's best new course by Golf Digest. Anyone who plays here will know the honors are well deserved.
