Stan was great with a 68!
Only 10 AMF'ers made it out on this sunny but very windy Thursday. Despite the tough conditions there were some pretty good scores turned in especially the top two. Stan on the strength of 4 birdies, carded a Mystic Ridge personal best 68 for a net –14 to take top spot this week by 7 strokes! Stan's net score ties the all time AMFGA Low Net mark. Billy C was no slouch either scoring a 68 of his own, -7 net to edge out Billy T for runner up honours this week. Stan also moves into a first place tie with Steve in the AMFGA standings. Stan naturally, earned the 10 points for 1st place this week in the Super Senior Competition and takes over top spot. Billy T picked up 5 points for 2nd place.
In the Team Competition, Nigel & The Pacemakers stopped the Masters streak and won 3 points this week. The Masters and The Jaggers won 2points each.
In the Beer Game, the free jug of amber liquid went to the trio of Stan, Billy C and Billy T who lapped the field by 6 stokes finishing at –19.
Five Cleaners at $4.00 each were doled out this Thursday. Stan (7,13) won a pair. Singles went to Billy T (6), John (12) and Brian (17).

The A.M.F.G.A. suffered it's first washout since July 2003. Next up on May 18, the2nd major of 1006, The Anniversary Cup! 2005 champ Stu will be looking to be the first repeat and multiple winner of the hallowed hardware.
