The AMFGA Reaches The All-Star Break!
The 2006 AMFGA season reached the half-way mark last week and the race for the AMFGA title and the coveted Blue Plaid Jacket is shaping up to be one of closest on record. Only $20.00 separates the top eight in the AMFGA Standings. Stu moved into 2nd place by firing a season best 72, net –8 and picking up the $10.00 for top spot. Brian carded his best of '06 as well with a 65, net –7 to earn 2nd place cash. Click here for the full results from July 6.
Stu earned 10 points and moves into first place in the Super Senior competition. John won 5 points for 2nd this week.
The Masters increased their lead in the Team Competition by taking the 3 points for 1sr. The Pacemakers won 2 for 2nd and the Jaggers picked up a single for the third week in a row.
The foursome of Dave H, Bill M, Brian and Stan drank from the free drug of draught by wining the Beer Game with a stunning –21 total.
Eleven Cleaners worth $2.00 each were paid out this Thursday. Dave H (4,5,6 & 11) completed a natural hat-trick plus one. Stu (13,14) won a pair. Singles went to Bill T (3), Bryan (1), Brian (7), Glen (18) and Bill M (3).
