Bryan Makes A Major Move!

 

The first Thursday without a hint of rain in the area in about six weeks saw only 10 AMF'ers tee it up for the 2006 A.M.F.G.A. Championship, the fifth major on the AMFGA calendar.  Bryan won his record 8th major title carding a 70 for a net –8.  Glen finished 2 strokes back with a 71, net –6.  Bryan's $20.00 win moves him into first place in the AMFGA standings.  Billy C was on a course record breaking pace getting it to –2 after a birdie on the 10th.  Alas, reality set in and he finished with a respectable but disappointing 71.  Click here for the full results from August 17.

Glen  won the first place10 points in the Super Senior Competition.  Stu and Stan picked up 5 points each.

The Masters increased their lead in the Team Competition to seven by earning three points this week.  The Pacemakers and the Jaggers each won 2 points

The Beer Game was won by the dapper foursome of "Sign Boyz"!  Stan, Stu, Brian and Bill T were resplendent in their matching uniforms.   They finished at –16, for  a one stroke victory.

Seven Cleaners worth $2.00 each were doled out this Thursday Billy C (4,10) won a pair.  Singles went to Bryan (7), John (2), Glen (14), Bill M (15) and Bill T(8).
