Stu Cruises Down Route 66!
2005 AMFGA Champ Stu has only been a full time AMF'er since the start of the 2003 season. But in less than 4 years he's moved up into the top ten in the AMFGA Career Earnings . His previous best on the Mystic Ridge course was a 71 set this past May. Well, this week his bested that mark by a whopping six strokes! Stu fired a sizzling 66 for a net –13 to win going away this Thursday. Stu moves back into first place in the AMFGA standings by $1.25 over Bryan. Glen earned his second runner-up cheque in a row with a 70, net –7 and quietly moves into contention for the coveted Blue Plaid Jacket. Click here for the full results from August 24
Stu of course won the first place10 points in the Super Senior Competition to increase his lead to 15 points. Glen earned 5 points for 2nd place.
The Pacemakers chipped away at the Masters lead in the Team Competition by earning three points this week. The Masters picked up 2 points. The Jaggers took 1 points and clinched a 3rd place finish
The Beer Game went to the quartet of Stu, Glen, John and Steve Their 8 birdies as a group got them in at –20 for a 4 stroke victory.
Six single Cleaners worth $4.00 each were paid out this week. Cashing in were Brian (8), Bill T (11), Glen (13), Paul (15), Frank (9) and Stu (14).
