Frank Fires For The Top!

 

As the Ides of September loomed eleven AMF'ers teed it up for the fourth-last game of 2006.  With $70.00 in first place cash still up for grabs potentially any AMF'er if he got red hot could still claim the title.  Frank took the first step in his charge up the ladder by firing a season best 74, net –11 to earn $10.00.  Paul carded a 79, –8 net to pick up $5.00 for second place this week.  Stu and Bryan still top the 2006 AMFGA standings with only $1.25 between them.  Click here for the full results from September 14

Frank picked up 10 points in the in the Super Senior Competition.  Bill T won 5 points and moves into a tie for first place with Stu, each with 70 points.

The Pacemakers won 3 points in  the Team Competition to keep the Masters from clinching the title.  But by earning 2 points the Masters only need another 2 point week or a 2 point finish by the Pacemakers to secure the 2006 team title.  The Jaggers?  They don't worry about such nonsense but won 2 points anyways.

The Beer Game was captured by the quartet of Brian, Bryan, Frank and Paul who won by 3 with a –16 total.

Four single Cleaners worth $5.00 each were awarded this week.  Stan (5), Bryan (13), Glen (12) and Paul (13) each picked up a sawbuck.
