Kapalua Resort - Plantation Course

Kapalua Plantation The par 73, 7,263-yard Plantation Course, site of the nationally televised Mercedes Championships, presents Kapalua's ultimate golf challenge. Designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, The Plantation unfurls across island canyons, native vegetation and panoramic oceanfront plateaus. Nestled between the sapphire Pacific and the verdant West Maui Mountains, Kapalua prospers amidst a working pineapple plantation of 23,000 acres owned by Kapalua's parent company, Maui Land & Pineapple Company.

A shotmaker's dream, players will find that the use of imagination and feel - along with every club in their bag - is an asset here. The signature hole, number 18, is the longest hole on the PGA tour. The Plantation Course is golf on a grand scale. This course tends to be very windy and often rains, the open fairways help combat the elements. Overall, it is a beautiful course which is very challenging. The views are outstanding!!!

The Plantation course was released on LS97 with it's sister courses, Kapalua Village and Bay, as well as the famous Latrobe course. The only course in the links collection and one of the world's few top class par 73 courses.
