Kapalua Resort - Village Course

Kapalua Village Kapalua's second Arnold Palmer design layout, The Village Course, twists, turns, rises and falls through the West Maui foothills. A serene trek through Hawaiian headlands, stands of Cook and Norfolk pines characterize this par 71, 6,632-yard course. course is a long, hilly, 18 hole resort. This course features many trees and doglegs. Built in 1981 and designed by Arnold Palmer, this course offers golfers narrow fairways that feature Bermuda turf and putting greens that feature Bermuda grass. The Village is complex enough to challenge the seasoned professional yet can be every bit as enjoyable for beginning golfers as well.

The Village Course rises to 800 feet above sea level. Most of its holes sit on a high plateau; the only problem is getting there. After a harrowing climb over the first four holes the course settles in to over interior views as well as thrilling glimpses of the coastline. Trees there are a plenty, but only to frame shots and provide backdrop. Otherwise, it's just you, wild golf holes and the wind.

This course was first offered with it 2 sister courses and Latrobe on the LS97 CD. A nice course, this is one of my favourite LS courses.
