Pinehurst Resort & Country Club - No.2 Old Course

 
Pinehurst Resort & Country Club Pinehurst Resort & Country Club is recognized as one of the finest golf resorts in the world. With seven championship courses tucked away in a North Carolina forest, it is truly a golfer's paradise. The most famous of the seven is Pinehurst number Two. This championship layout was designed by Donald Ross and is said to be his finest work.

Pinehurst Number Two stretches out over an imposing 7,028 yards with a par of 72. Rolling terrain, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens add to the challenge of this beautiful links. Over the years, Pinehurst Number Two has hosted PGA and Amateur Championships along with the Ryder Cup.

Pinehurst Number Two is now home of the PGA Tour Championship, the grand finale of the U.S. Tour.

This course is found on Vol.3 of the Links Course Library's. As the course was redesigned to host the 1999 US open, Access also remade it into LS99 format. Information can be found under Pinehurst #2 New Course link.
