Although I am not living close enough to NYC to see her perform live on stage, I am glad she elected to pursue live theatre rather than stay on the Cheers series. The character of Lilith was superb, but did not all w Ms Neuwirth to hone her craft in many wonderful areas. The first time I truly realized what a wonderful actress and singer she was was in a live interview on David Letterman when she arrived in costume from the musical "Damn Yankees" and delivered a se sual performance of "What ever Lola wants, Lola gets".
