We have made some wonderful friends way to many to mention them all here but you all know who you are and how special you are to me :)
I have 3 children. My oldest got married in July 2000 to a wonderful guy I am pleased to welcome to the family. This is scary as it means I must be getting old.. lol. My second oldest made me a grandma to a wonderful little girl in December 2002! She has a terrific boyfriend who is very supportive and caring. My youngest... my only boy still lives at home with me and will for a few more years!
I have been married twice and divorved twice also. My life has never been a bed of roses but I refuse to let the strife get the better of me. I have rheumatoid arthritis. They did a bone scan that showed every joint in my body was inflamed.. from the jaw joints right down to the little toe joints.There was a time when I could not leave my house unless I was in a wheelchair. I have progressed nicely.. I walked with 2 canes for a while... but I now I no longer use the canes. Some days are still painful... but I refused to be a whiner and a complainer... I get up and do what I can... I am NOT ready to die. The doctors say I will never work again.. that is ok.. I have accepted it and I do volunteer work which I never had time for when I was working. I guess I have to make my life as happy and bearable as I can.. Only I can make a bad day worse. When life hands you lemons.. make lemonade.
I am venturing into my third marriage.. to a wonderful man from the UK (don't you just love accents?). My son adores him which is great because his own father can't seem to be bothered with him. I am very happy to have someone to share the ups and downs of life with again, it is amazing how much you can miss having that on a daily basis :)
