As We Move On Together From One Millennium to the Next

It was a pity that we couldn't carry on with the barbeque that had been planned, but I was glad that the cancellation and change of plans had not dampened our moods. Even then, going for KFC wasn't that bad an idea after all, and we still managed to spend the countdown to the millennium at the beach (and remember how we passed from one millennium into the next?).

It was a long walk home after that; a long detour indeed. But I still felt so happy to have spent such a special and important night with you! And I hope that you did too!
