Welcome to the website of the West Highland White Terrier Club of California.
The
club was first established in 1951. The object of our club is to encourage and promote
the breeding of pure-bred West Highland White Terriers and to do all that is possible
to bring their natural qualities to perfection. This is a standard that is approved by
the American Kennel Club (AKC) as the only standard of excellence and we urge all
members and breeders to accept and follow.

Our Specialty is held every June at California State Long Beach, Long Beach California.
The Specialty is held on the same weekend and in conjunction with the Great Western
Terrier Trial. The Beverly Hills Kennel Club holds its Trial on Sunday.
