Nick walked towards the two in they alley, on the call from Seth. He was told that Aly was being questioned, and Nick definitely wanted to be there. After all, the night before he had staked her blood-daughter, and he wasn’t the type not to finish a job. He was unsure though, of what to do that is, he thought as he finally stopped and stood next to them.
The two were speaking, throwing questions back and forth. Nick was barely noticed by either one until he spoke in mind talk to Seth, asking about what exactly was going on. His reply was a simple, "Just watch". Nick shook his head and did so, as Aly sunk her teeth into his PI superior. At this point, Nick would of lunged forward and beat the vampire to a pulp, but he held back, knowing it was a part of Seth’s plan. Then the mind talk started again.
>>Our blood is like a drug to their kind, I think this will be punishment enough"<< Seth spoke to Nick, rubbing his neck as the woman leaned against the wall and released.
>>No no no… her kind doesn’t deserve to be around at all,<< Nick stretched out with his thoughts and replied.
The two continued to argue in their minds as Aly seemed to be cowering from the wall, as if it were swallowing her. Another man started to approach.

Aly and Nick in this time had erupted, spouting out harsh verbal messages at each other. It was a blur, and the argument grew worse when Nick revealed his staking of Jess. Aly jumped at him, but was swatted away by a left arm.
Seth started to get worried, and left for a moment as the two continued. Moments later, Nick saw Seth again, but then he stuck his nose into the air. He sniffed, the wretched smell filling his body, and turned around to find the source.
It was Aaron, who Nick assumed had some blood relation to Aly. He was holding wolvesbane… oh how Nick hated the stuff. But it only seemed to anger him, and he walked closer to the man.
"You don’t even know how to use that…" Nick stated, "and I’d like to see you try."
"No, I do," Aaron’s hand was shaking a bit, "It’s just I don’t feel like it now, I’m tired."
"Try me." Nick snatched the flower from his hand in one quick motion, and tore it up, sending it to fly into the wind. The stench ceased.

Aaron yelled at to Seth as Nick turned around to see Aly shifting into a cheap wolf knock-off. Seth grabbed her mid-shift and then released. Aaron also started to shift, and Nick followed suit. He finally shifted, to see Aly darting into the woods, followed by Aaron, and a color changing Seth. Nick pursued.
As he reached the point where the tree line started he leaped, landing in front of all three, and sliding on the wet dirt. He let out a howl, and then growled at Aly. She returned one, Aaron speeding up behind, and Seth looking on. Nick ignored all non-Aly mind talk. He let her know how much he hated her kind. There was scratching, but nothing serious, and Aly sidestepped towards the left as Nick eyes grew narrower.

Nick leaped once more, this time on top of an unsuspecting Aaron. He landed, digging sharp claws into his stomach, but was rammed in the back by Aly, just enough to throw him off.
Nick grew angry… very angry. Aly and Aaron ran off as the change began. The wolf within found a key point, one where it saw an opening to be released.
Nose to snout, slender wolf shape turned to a bulky and muscular one, fur grew out further, and he stood on two feet, to a size of around eight feet, roaring, howling, and growling.

The beast was caught at the change by a huge paw, one similar to his. It was Seth…
Being caught off guard was too much for him, he was confused and taken down. He gave up… tallying a loss…
Dragged by Seth to Aly’s house, he found a clothes stash, put it on, and bargained with Seth for a promotion. Nick was now the head of the vampire division at OI, and was granted 100% security and file access, so long as he would leave Aly alone for the time being. Nick counted it as a loss, but perhaps it would be a gain later on. The best may have been yet to come… or was it?
