study at home - drivers education
A high school student spends over 30 hours each week in a classroom. The State of California requires you to spend 30 hours studying Driver Education before you can obtain a Learners Permit.

Do you really want to spend an extra 30 hours in a classroom on nights or weekends or have to wait until your school finally offers Driver Ed?

With this course, you can study at home at your own pace. You can complete the course as quickly as you can read the class materials and fill out the worksheets. Your parent or guardian can supervise you while you take the final test.

The California Vehicle Code requires anyone under 18 years of age to take six hours of "behind the wheel" drivers training from a state licensed driving instructor. Our list of driving schools is from the Yellow Pages and is not a recommendation or endorsement of any of the schools. It's sorted by telephone area code, major cities and major counties to help you find a school in your area.
