Shotmaking Factors There are five golf shotmaking or performance factors: Accuracy, Feel Consistency, Distance, and Trajectory. Regardless of what part of the golf club is changed or altered, these are the end results that will be affected. Let's talk about Distance by itself for a moment. Thanks in large part to PGA pros, all golfers in general want to hit the ball farther. But what good is that extra 10, 15, or 20 yards unless you keep the ball in the fairway? If the additional yardage puts you deeper into the woods or heavy rough, you'll be adding strokes to your score instead of taking them off. My total fitting process results in providing each customer with clubs that he or she can hit confidently.
