This was the first weekly racing in over a month. We decided to try the lap heat option in Trakmate to change the racing format. Fifteen lap heats were run using the rotation race with lap heats format. It proved to be very close, as the track owner was without a race win for the evening. Paul won the T-jet and Magnatraction races while Gilles very convincingly won the modified race.
We did learn something rather interesting for all you Trakmate users. In the final lap of the rotation race option with lap heats, the track call button is disabled. We found this out during the T-jet race. If you are leading and come off in the last lap (there is a verbal queue to let you know it is the last lap) you could forefit a win!
Next racing Wednesday March 16th.
