STANDARDS & REQUIREMENTS FOR TEAM S&M MEMBERSHIP

To be accepted as an Associate Member of Team S&M, the applicant must:

• Pass the Entrance Examination with a score of 90% or better.
• Demonstrate, through a one page essay, an appreciation for things esoteric, dangerous, and ostensibly illogical.
• Have never published, discussed, or even considered what their Geek Code is, or might be. Any Team S&M member discovered to be identifying themselves as "GED/J d-- s:++>: a-- C++(++++) ULU++ P...", is subject to severe penalties, up to and including disbarrment.
• Be conversant in at least 2 of the following 4 shining examples of modern media: (1) The movie, "Animal House"; (2) Dr. Hunter S. Thompson's Book, "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"; (3) Iron Maiden's song, "The Number of the Beast"; and (4) National Lampoon's article, "The Awesome, Mind-Roasting Summer of O.C. and Stiggs".
• Be able to juggle 3 balls (or fruits/vegetables/produce) for at least 10 seconds
• Be prepared to take an oath of allegiance to Team S&M.

To be considered for elevation to the Executive Board of Team S&M, the applicant must have been an Associate Member in good standing for a period of at least 2 years. In addition, the prospective candidate must :

• Be nominated by an active Executive Board member for consideration.
• Demonstrate an utter disregard for the health and welfare of others.
• Recite the complete dialog from "Animal House" ...verbatim...
• Have participated in at least 5 Team S&M events, with no recorded loss of human life.
• Pass a grueling, 3 day evaluation (with at least 3 limbs still intact). The precise details of this evaluation is a closely-guarded secret, known only to the current Executive Board members.
