Family Without Faces

We're a family without faces,
but as close as we can be,
it's true we're not related,
 we can't make a family tree.

We're not sisters and not brothers,
not of the flesh or of the bone,
but our hearts tell us we're family,
part of the greatest one I've ever known.

We're there for one another,
in good times and in bad,
we can count on one another,
when feeling down and sad.

We come from all parts of the country,
from the east coast to the west,
we've all joined our lives together,
to make our family the best.

When a family member is in need,
you'll find us all gathered around,
to give comfort and support,
and a multitude of love abound.

Some might say that we aren't family,
because we come from different places,
but you will never find a stronger bond,
then in our family without faces.
