Hey! Here are some of my tips for people that come on the net.
Tip 1:Normaly most people would think "My goddamn computer is going TO slow when I'm on the net!!" but most-likely it's not your computer, it's your net server. So, what you do, is go to Options, then click on Network Preferences, it should open up to cache, what you do is put your memory cache at 600 and disk cache at 0, push okay and it'll do a little flippy thing but don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong!
Tip 2:Did you ever go to a homepage and find a picture you wanted SO bad? Well here are to ways to get them! First, you could go to View and click on Document Source, it'll show you ALL the stuff thats on the page, BUT, if it's a page that has like, two windows or something you might want to do it the easy way and just click the right mouse button, you'll get a list of options, you'll know what to do from there.
Tip 3:Normaly when you go to a site, you don't know it but you get these things called cookies, no not those type of cookies!! Well you don't get them but you don't get them really, the people that run the site do, they tell the people like, your preference, what you have in you net, things like that. Don't like them damn cookies? Go back to Options, then go to Network Preferences again, go to Protocols, you should have "Show Alert Before:Accepting Cookies", but the bad thing is that I don't know if al computers have it, my nephews doesn't. You'll get this little messages sometimes when you go to places that'll ask you if you want one, just push cancel. They're kinda annoying but you'll get use to them!
Everytime you do one of the thing from Options, it'll do that flippy thing!
Tip 4:Afew months ago, my page at angelfire(http://www.angelfire.com/ok/JTsGirlForever/)was
hacked, and now, that means that I don't have that page, I'm
pretty sure the dude that did it earsed all my files, but luckily I have all my files here at my geocities account. So I didn't use much! I don't know who did it, and there was someone elses page that was hacked too! So now I only have one page, and the dude changed the password, and the e-mail I think. So change your page password every other week.
Tip 5:Want to get your e-mail faster?? Well go back up to Options, and go to Mail and News Preferences, then go to servers. Go down to where it says Check for Messages every:10, you want to put that at 1, or whenever.
