Here we go. I can say many things but
will only give what I think will put a smile on your
face. One of them is, I hop around like I have a sore
foot and sing "Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of Rum, Rum: I'm
Peg Leg Pete". Then usually after I've eaten, I say,
"I'm stuff full of shrimp". When Roy is out of the
house, Joyce will ask me, "Where's daddy"? I come
back with "Gone Golfing". Then there's the times I
say "I'm mommy's little sweetie pie, daddy's little
sh-t". Guess you can tell who I favor. I'll think of
more later, but first I wonder If you knew that I can
read. Here is the book I am presently reading. It's
all about Budgies and two of my cousins are in it.LOL
A few weeks ago
I took ill and Roy brought me to The Bird Hospital in
Lake Worth Fl. They examined me and found that I had
a tumor and a bad leg. They suggested to Roy that he
leave me with them so I would get proper care. I
didn't like to hear that because I was afraid to live
with strangers. Not only that, but they were going to
take me off my seeds and feed me a food that Dr.
Harrison created. I thought, "oh-no, no more
seeds". Now, here is the "good" part. I'm on the
mend and with the care I've been getting, I don't
know if I want to go home. Dr. Harrison would check
me when he was in and Dr. Flinchum and I fell in love
with each other. She is such a wonderful person and a
caring doctor, that it's too bad you humans don't have a
Doc like her for your ills. Then there is Stephaine
and Gina. They would feed me, weigh me and clean my
little home away from home. I'd talk to them and
they'd talk to me, so it was almost like being at
home. The hospital will have it's own web site soon.
When it's completed I'll have a link on here to take
you to it. I guess what I'm saying is that if any
of you have a bird that takes ill and you live in the
area, you should take the little guy to see those
wonderful people. If you don't live in the area, then
damn it, MOVE. AND, I'm going to make sure that when
Roy & Joyce go on their little jaunts to Biloxi, they
leave me in the boarding house at the hospital.
Thanks too all of them for getting me back on my
"feet" and to you for reading
this. Ladies and Gentlemen, this
is your
Captain. Welcome aboard Bailey's flight #807, we will
be flying at an altitude of 36,000 feet and suggest
you fasten your seat belts for the next leg in your
trip. Just click the "Next" to continue.See, I
can
read.

BR>On to my talking. Roy &
Joyce started teaching me when I was about 6 weeks
old. The older we get the harder it is for us to
learn. I think they started teaching me "Good
Morning". That wasn't too hard for me and it made a
lot more sense than Polly want a cracker. Once I got
that down pat, then and only then did they start with
new words. If your going to teach your guy, wait
untill he gets the first thing down pat. As I learned
more and more I started to mix them and make some
pretty silly sentences. For instance, they like to go
on the Casino boat, Contessa. So they taught me to
say "Oh No, Contessa". Then one day I sang, "Santa
Claus is coming, to Contessa". They got me for $14
(What a bargin) so I was taught "I'm a $14 Pleasure".
One day it came out where I actually corrected myself
by saying, "I'm a $14 pisser, Pleasure". Thay laughed
with that one. I'm two years old now and still
learning. I enjoy it because when company comes, I'm
the center of attraction. So remember, start teaching
young with repetition and then go on. There's no
telling how big the vocabulary can
get.

Toys.

BR>You know how "they" say that
out of everything bad, there is always something good
that comes out of it. Well listen to the greatest
bunch of caring people I ever met.
