This is how the story begin...!

It was founded in 1998 by Fannie (cinta) and her friend Sharon (Bluegirl/ bluefairy) aka Vira. The idea of creating this channel came up when they were chatting and the thought of having their own channel excited them. The movie 'Armageddon' (which was a hit at that time) popped up into their mind and the soundtrack, 'animalcracker' became their inspiration. That was how the name of this channel was chosen and existed until now, #animalcracker on Efnet server.

Since they had yet have what we called BOT and crews, they joined another channels and invited everyone they knew or chatted with before to join their channel.

The confusing problem was the BOT. Since anyone who first joined that channel would gain OP/Operator ('@'), they would be able to op or voice or even use their power to abuse other users if they are not happy with even though the users did nothing wrong. Therefore BOT is a must.

Finally after a couple of months, Chairul (CrazyGuy) gave them some BOTs so they could access and control their channel from the BOTs.

Then, Estalia (_boxster_), Riady (Cur|d84), Gerry (M3rCuRY), Nanang (virgo_guy), Ario (KnightFal), Armand (Absolut), Mirabel (^BAByPoOH^) and Icha (^NoNa^) joined and finally recruited as the first #animalcracker's crews.

TO channel or Take Over channel was common at that time. They felt a bit dissaponted, angry and devastated, because it almost happened to their channel...Hehehehe... The fun and excited times were since one or more of them had the role to take care the channel.

Unfortunatelly, it happened. Someone took over the channel. Since then, they created a new channel named #animalcrackers as a replacement for #animalcracker.

Only their friends and those who they had chatted with joined the channel. Finally, Joe (k|uivert) and Anty (Just4Two) became a new member.

The great thing was that they had known each other before. So the 'circle of friendship' was only among them.

To make it clear:

Fannie and Sharon were at the same college in Perth. They were friends and Gerry was their friend as well. Then Gerry invited his friends Icha (friend from college back in Singapore) and Anty. Nanang and Chairul (Jakarta) were buddies and Estalia and Mirabel (from Sydney), Riady and Joe (Melbourne), Ario and Armand (Jakarta).

Sharon/ Vira (Bluefairy)
She is Fannie's friend from Perth and difficult to be contacted or called because she is not from Jakarta. She went to Bali or Macau for holiday. Often called Vira or Sharon and she is one of Internet freaks out there. She introduced to many new things to Fannie. She is still in Perth now and study at Curtin University.

Fannie (cinta)
Nothing much to say, Hehehe...actually I dunno what to say. She so excited when the crews decide to go out together. She's the one who organize everything. Called each and everyone of the crews to confirm the time and location to meet up (sometimes) hehehehe...But overall, she's nice, friendly and crazy about me (another Hehehehe).

Gerry (M3RcUrY)
Not only the most talkative person but also the nicest and easy going fella. He is Fannie's and Sharon's 'brother'. He was a DJ at 'Gema Kriya' Radio Station in Perth. Now, he further his study in UPH in Jakarta.

Icha (^NoNa^)
She is Gerry's friend from Indonesia. She is a nice girl and easygoing person too. And now she is studying in one of the University in London.

Mirabel (B4bY^P0oH)
The youngest one amongs the other crews. Now, She is studying in one of Sydney's High School.

Estalia (_boxster_)
The real and also one of the many Internet freaks out there. She established #animalcrackers' mailing list and now studying in San Fransisco.

Riady (Cur|d81)
Still in Melbourne. If you want to express your feeling, he is the one you could talk with. Often 'join' and 'part' channel. And also the 'GOD' in maintaining a friendship.

Nanang (virgo_guy)
He is a mIRC gangsta'. Hehehe... You often find him on mIRC. But since he is working now, that thing won't be entirely true. He also the one who always type 'small comments' (Foot Notes) of 1 or 2 lines on the channel mailing list.

Ario (KnightFal)
We've never seen him again since he is busy working in Singapore. He usually chats at night and control the channel (like any other crews do). He is an easy going person.

Joe (k|uivert)
He is the coolest guy, nice and friendly. He's the one who created this homepage and all the crews thanked him. And he's also the guy with the word 'Silence' is golden. But, he's an easy going person.
