All our drift wood pieces are care fully hand selected. only pieces that are compasitionaly stable are used. They are soaked for two weeks, to loosen particulate matter, then blasted with high pressure steam.This Procces removes the dirt and unwanted topical debis and sterilizes several several layers into the piece. The beauty of the pieces nautral wood grane is left intact and exposed adding a natural beauty ussually found in nature. Our procces olso preserves the woods nautral tendancy to leach tannins, humic acid and other nauturally occuring organic substances which aquairiest try to duplicate by using black water extracts or filter peat.
