All our drift wood pieces are care fully hand selected and cut to fit most popular tank sizes. Or, can be cut to order. Only the highest quality pieces, that are compositionaly stable are used. They are soaked for two weeks, to loosen particulate matter, then blasted with high pressure steam.This Procces not only removes the unwanted dirt and debis, it also sterilizes several several layers into the piece. We also offer a water logging service in which a piece is boild for 8-10 hrs., or until it is no longer buyant, but proccesses is usualy reserved for local customers due to weight and parishability constraints on shipping. All our proccesing techniqus have been developed to perserve the natural beauty of the pieces wood grane and leave it exposed adding a natural beauty usually found only in nature. Our procces olso preserves the woods nautral tendancy to leach tannins, humic acid and other nauturally occuring organic substances which aquairiest try to duplicate by using black water extracts or filter peat.
