Victorian We now offer the Victorian backplate with our popular pressed glass doorknob. Called Victorian Glass, this new set is edging up the popularity list daily. The Victorian Suite has been used in several well-known installations. These include the feature film, Ditch Digger's Daughter, and the Soloman Victorian Inn. To Use on Newer, Pre-Drilled Doors: The Victorian Suite is made to fit a 1 7/8" bored door. It can be used on a 2 1/8" pre-drilled door, if the drilling is just perfect. We are currently working on widening this plate slightly so that it will more easily fit on a standard drilling. Choose from the following functions... Victorian Passage Set ~ This standard function is non-locking for general use. It is used on most interior doors when privacy is not a concern. It is available as a complete set, including mortise lock, or the parts can be purchased separately... All of our mortise lock sets are keyed alike. A Few Words on Quality & Finish: All Nostalgic Warehouse hardware is reproduced to blend in well with new construction as well as renovation projects. Because each piece is made by hand, as these items were originally, each piece is slightly different. Minor imperfections in color, pattern, and finish are meant to enhance the antique look and are not considered defects. All of our brass hardware is lacquer-coated to resist tarnish (unless specifically ordered uncoated). Our lacquer is an interior-grade lacquer.
